I'm taking this day to reflect about why I started sharing in the first place and what continues to be my motivation. I got a little emotional putting this together.
Thank you for giving me a safe space to share my life with you. It's not always easy, but it's always worth it. Especially if I can help just one other person feel seen or expand their understanding.

I'm a little surprised how many people have never met someone with cerebral palsy before. My friend from school had about the same level this young lady has they walked exactly the same. He also had issues with his non dom left hand which made griping all most impossible. He was a extremely smart gentleman and pretty independent and the greatest sense of humor if people wood try to not mention his cp he would also say are we not going to talk about the elephant in the room. But like you say the school would try to put him in special ed an never give him a chance he was better at math then our high school teacher was. He was a great guy who never wanted any special treatment. Also when I was in the military one of the Sargents sisters had cp she was also a great lady used to hang around us when we got back. I just can't imagine people never running into someone with cp it's just kind of odd is all to have met at least five people in my life.

AMEN! My experience has always been like that. Unfortunately my voice is affected which has both the affects of people thinking I have an intellectual disability (retired IT Director) and the issue of having to try to understand me. I've always said CP is 20% of the disability, how the world addresses it is the other 80%.

I can relate to this message so much. I will continue to support you and be here whenever you post a video living your life miserably would be a wonderful prescription for miserable existence. That’s what I tell people in my life I could be down and depressed all the time, but what kind of life would that be, a miserable life I choose not to live my life. I accept Situation I was given in life this spastic quadruple CP and make the best out of it every day make the best out of every day being miserable. What you’re doing spread awareness about C.P as well as showing the world that you could accomplish anything as long as you work hard is phenomenal. Please don’t ever stop advocating for this disability or any disability for that matter. My son has cerebral palsy and I actually sent your link to him in hopes that he can look up to you and realize that he’s not alone as well as realize that he can accomplish anything. I tell my son I’m gonna tell you don’t give up. Don’t let anybody tell you can’t do something and just remember you got this.

That is good you're talking about CP on a public forum. I have a church friend with CP and talk to him quite a bit. I saw another CZcamsr with CP that's a weightlifting coach she was quite phenomenal.

Happy Holy Week. Yesterday was Palm Sunday. Jesus sees you as the same as everyone else in the sense that He is impartial to all. All are equally the same to God.
Its painful in this life/world when at no fault of your own your labeled whatever for being physically out of the box, and therefore mistreated. I see it as fear from people who love stagnation, conformity on the physical and psychological fronts because they have never ventured outsideoif their square box. Anytime we are different than the " norm" it has that affect on others. It is devastating to a child because it's inconceivable that peoole can be that narrow, or.that cruel. When you hurt a child's heart i think God pays close attention. Your not alone, and you are so brave, so smart, so savvy and compassionate. Keep good care of your heart, and you'll teach the rest of us how to be brqve and compassionate too and to look outside the box. 😊❤
