I’m very indifferent on SCN/Geoff Wilson. But grading is a skill, and you grade as much as he does, you will honestly get better at it. I’ve noticed it myself. Just something to consider

I will say I did dual service first time ever. And 10 ultra modern cards in a row came back 10/10 so it’s not as rare or rigged as everyone thinks. 😂😂😂
My PSA experience has been shaky at best. If he did a true blind sub under a different name (one of his minion employees) I'd buy this reveal as being fully genuine from PSA

PSA does all this talking about innovation like improving the grading process, vaulting, and partnering with selling platforms. The list goes on and on. How about this for an innovation - open more grading sites. There should be at least four different sites broken up by region. More jobs, quicker turnaround times, more people submitting cards. So many positives to doing this.

I was LMAO,.......... The vault service is a joke. They have no way of contacting them via phone if you have an issue with one of your stored cards. They do not message back as well.

This grading reveal makes it too obvious that PSA graded his cards very generously knowing his video would be seen by hundreds of thousands of sports card collectors.
Now lets do a video of cracking these PSA 10's out of their holders and getting re-graded by just one of us regular Joes.....You'ld be LUCKY to get 2 10's!
What? Have you sent to psa before? If you clean it up and select what you send in pretty carefully get 70-80% 10s is easy

This grading was about as rigged as could be. No chsnce a normal person sending those in gets all those 10s
Take a shot every time he says "this is a big card"
His submission by mail: He gets approx 20% PSA 10 (near 1/3rd are 8s)
His submission in person: He gets approx 80% PSA 10 (no 8s at all?)
This is statistically impossible unless favoritism is in play (or blame it on fake human error/judgement). Both submissions had same outlook on cards, pre-screened for high 9-10, both accounting for modern cards only. Sample size is smaller for this reveal but is still incredibly telling. Whether they know same details by mail or inperson, I have seen already 3 instances where statistical improbabilities and unforeseen outliers are evident. I never grade cards for this reason, it is wildly controlled against consumers and foul play is a concern. I am not wholly against grading, but people who act on reason, morale, logic, and common sense should reconsider grading cards.
I normally don't enjoy 20 minute ads but this one was interesting enough :)
Geoff you need to do a special long investigative episode on the CT scanning that backyard breaks has been doing and others for awhile now. This changes everything!!!

Geoff, well done. I am in the minority here: Once you submit for years to PSA, you get a better sense how harsh you must grade your own cards. The more I grade myself, the better my grades have been, as I have been more harsh on my own cards. Excellent video. P.S. the Pokemon was a nice add, those three cards in a psa 10 are quite a lot.
Not surprised the Topps, Pokémon and UD cards get 10s, and the Panini cards get crap. It starts at the factory line. 😅

I actually stopped doing slabs.. I really began to enjoy patch/jersey cards why??
1) they’re so unique and 2 of the same card will be different
2) no one really cares about grading them… you’re mainly looking for just a sick patch… and no one expects high grades on thick cards… so not being graded won’t impact them almost at all
I was very disappointed to learn that grading is not done blindly. There seems to be a lot of winking and nodding going on. I wish some company would come along and do it more openly and fairly. But I do appreciate Geoff's show and all he's doing for the hobby.
They didn’t mention they steal your slabs. The min price crap is broken. I put starting bid $10 on tons of auctions. They all started at 99 cents. Many ended $4. And the fee to list is $5. So they just stole my cards. It said item sold $4. Minus $4 listing fee. Proceeds $0. Cards gone. Awful makes me wanna quit hobby. How is this legal nat turner 😢😢😢
Congrats on the reveal but about half of those tens would have been 9’s if it was some random joe sending in those cards into psa. He should have submitted all those 1980’s tops baseball and basketball fleer when PSA knew it was Geoff cards and a few more of those 9 would have been 10’s. You can’t get a 10 on 1980’s through 93 on any cards unless you know too PSA people or sent them in late 90’s though 00’s. It’s about pop control. PSA is a sorta scam on some grades.
SGC are the same too especially on the big name players. They deliberately downgrade

PSA handing out 10s on my sendins like candy. Not sure what is going on but for years it was almost impossible to get a PSA 10. Now its pretty consistent

It's because you no longer have to have 4 sharp corners to get a PSA 10. They even grade cards with paper loss PSA 10's. Really lowered their standards
Go to search eng, type n psa, click on psa, click on box topish left corner with 3 little lines n the box, click on "Services & Prices", then simply keep scrolling down & read.
I think I'll still stick with trying TAG or SGC

I would like for my grader(s) to sign off on their grades, so collectors have documentation as to who is competent, and who is not.
The insurance up-charge is such a scam. Especially in a situation like this where the cards are being dropped off and picked up in person

Speaking of PSA vault, what about my Jordan Auto that I listed with PSA vault to sell on EBay, buyer never paid which happens all the time, and my card is now stuck in limbo with it being noted as “awaiting payment” lol, it’s been 4 months and still can’t do anything. Contacted PSA and they just tell me they’re working on it. Are you kidding me. What a joke. eBay vault was perfect the way it was. Thanks eBay for selling out.

Pack fresh doesn't mean a card is a 10, most cards have manufacturing imperfections

There are only 11 PSA 10.
It is one of the coolest looking basketball cards. Maravich's background is all clouds and all the other cards in the set are a plain background.

Grading has ruined card collecting along with the extreme high prices, I gave up on collecting in a hobby i loved to spend time on because I can no longer afford to do it and its sad... now i have cards that just sit in boxes that i spent hard earned $ on that mean nothing now, the national was a hour from me and due to the high cost of admittion and cards why bother going, i truly miss the hobby and the fun I used to have setting up at a show to sell to get $ to buy what i collected now its a big $ game and im lower income... 😭 Sad

How clearly is this corrupt. The wemby was the base the most inexpensive card and it gets a “6”. Geoff tried to pretend like that wasn’t staged he knew he had to try to have some low grades to prevent us from realizing this is all corrupt.

Nat Turner can't accept the fact that I discovered the 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Sticker Reverse Error and won't accept for grading because there's not enough in circulation and isn't recognized by the hobby as an official error card. That's because it was just discovered in 2021 so of course it doesn't have much history. I've since found one more so now 2 are known to exist. PSA needs to recognize these cards!

You're trying to tell me that you made a promotional video for PSA and just happened to nail it on nearly every card. We're not a stupid as we look. Look at ANY true PSA grade reveal video and you will see mis labels, over grades, under grades, and overall just poor service from the "best grading company in the world" I really wish we could just be gone with PSA already.
