What improvements does this offer over a ball lock style traditional quick connect, and what safety features exsist, can it be disconnected under pressure?

No i did not lol, but that reminds me of the hydro fittings on a bobcat attachment

very similar concept, however these are designed specifically for -AN Fittings.

I wish these came apart better. They are very well made but you cannot get them apart or together very easy.
