Another year from missing the playoffs obviously and we were out pretty much all year but i say the positives from this season were going 3-1 against Detroit, sweeping the Habs, and going like 3-1 against the Leafs as well. However next season i think we will actually start to see this team improve and make their way to the playoffs if they can just stay consistent. We know the Sens can play well its just about playing good solid hockey for 60 minutes every single game next season. Also please hire Berube or Evasson as our next head coach, even though i want Martin to continue coaching with this group i dont think he wants too and its probably best for him to just enjoy his retirement. I am very happy to be a Sens fan and great way to get the final win against the Bruins in Martins final game. Go Sens go and see you guys next year❤👊
Good question. They have to keep some entry level guys for the 4th line. It may become a pick-em between Smejkal and Kachouk. Smejkal is a big body with some touch and Kachouk is big also and younger. Ah, choices!
Probably one of the most disappointing sens seasons I have ever witnessed. That being said I am still optimistic moving forward and will be looking forward to the fall
Maybe not a full blow up but we need to do a hard 2-3 year retool now or else it's gonna be 2035 before we see playoffs again (if we don't get the Arizona treatment first)
I have no faith in Staios. Everything is wait and be patience. Yet he was pretty quick with tarasenko. He will hire a coach with no experience and I don’t expect him to do much else. Do everything on the cheap like the last owners. Plus always excuses.
I do hope they find a proper GM asap. The tarasenko trade a scamjob for 2 players that might not ever play in the NHL on top of taking too long to fire DJ. Hopefully we get Ryan Bowness or Mathiew Darche. Berube (or Sullivan if he leaves) would be the top candidate for coach.
I haven’t liked his moves so far but give the guy a chance at least. He’s well respected around the league and they’ve hired a whole new group to work with.

Yesser we have to get rid of Kubalik because he's so useless as well. Also I hope the draft treats us well so we move up to top 3.
