I have X380. I once pulled a heavy 600 pound downed utility pole across my yard over grass without the mower deck on it with a heavy chain.I easily pull a drag harrow with heavy cinder blocks on it through my gravel driveway. It does fine for pulling especially with the heavy mowing deck on it for weight. I'm about to smooth grade a lumpy bumpy clay patch of land with the harrow without the mowing deck on it so it won't bottom out. For extra traction I am considering buying two rear 42 pounds each suitcase weights John Deer sells for these tractors. They hook on the rear of the frame just above the hitch, no bracket needed. And I can still use the hitch with no obstruction. I won't have any problem with wheel slippage. And IL get a tighter turning radius without the mower in place. Just some ideas for you!

You need to break ground...."then" get the disk into the ground. They're literally doing almost nothing. Weigh the disk down and actually....disk.

@@NonTypicalRacing That’s fair. I have a few changes to make before doing and serious work with it. The first order of business is to put a tongue on it so it doesn’t take a mile to turn around. Then, I can experiment more.
