- Why did i record it and do i plan to make more vids?
- No i don't. I just see many ppl asking for Sharen "endgame" and also 99% streamers putting her into D or C tier as "completely useless".
Can kill within 11 sec but who cares.
Why no shield stack and just 20k hp?
- HP stacking definetely gives way more overall survability. No resistances just 20k hp 13k def cleared all hardmodes with no excess deaths.
- Red Module for Camouflage works as it did on beta. It caps at +50% dmg (actually x1.42 total dmg increasement and not just 100% turning into 150% smh). And that 50% is reached by literally 50 consumed shield so you need 100 of it to consume half and get max bonus. Less shield - easier to regenerate more than 15% to press C. Stacking shield doesn't increase dmg with Red Module. All you need is 200 shield.
Why so big numbers?
- Basic sniper hit dmg is garbage. But it has very high weakpoint and critdmg increasements. Further buffed each 10 sec by reload bullet (first point shot yellow module) and Sharen's x1.86 x 1.42 invis (basic+red module modifiers). (Yes Weakpoint yellow module gives less dmg and you can't bring 2 yellow).
Is that build op?
- No it isn't. But Sharen definetely CAN deal very high dmg on bosses. Weakpoint onetapper. Less dps than infinite ammo Gley overall in the span of like 5 minutes.
- Also build not for everyone. You need to run around, focus weakspots, 99% accuracy since any weakspot miss = bye dmg. Literally stealth assassin, lethal shadow. High skill = high return.
- If you play without Enzo you need to use one bullet each time under invis and reload buff. No excess hitting. That's still 5 big shots + get some general rounds wep to kill adds and stuff. If you're with Enzo you can just spam those 1m hits into weakspots almost forever.
Is this endgame build?
- I can't call it fully endgame because my sniper rifle got only 2 catalysts and Sharen got 1. Endgame is full slots while those 5m would turn to about ~10.
Also do take into account in solo mode i don't get 15% separate layer dmg buff from Sharen's passive cuz i'm always focused by boss.
Why Afterglow Sword?
- Before you get it - run with Forest Gaze. Decent sniper rifle not loosing too much to Afterglow. Last one has built-in crit chance and with more modules you bring your crit would raise up to 93%+. Piercing light (another legendary sniper) has more total dmg (around 17% irc) but has 40% base critchance that turns your endgame dmg into crit roulette. Don't be like that.
What is Sharen good for aswell?
- Apart from dealing high reload dmg from invis shots each 10 sec - Sharen is feeling ok on solo hard dungeons since you invis 24/7, shot tough enemies like shieldbearers from invis+Q (500k crits on hardmodes + 400k total dot) On boss you shot him into phase with sniper, press invis, Z (4th skill), all balls/enemies dead, shot boss into phase, repeat.
- Sharen isn't a good aoe farmer. Yes Z has nice dmg but just 10 targets and overall dps leaves much to be desired compared to real aoe farmers like Bunny.

part about this is sharen is broken because of overcharged shield which is gatekept behind the final intercept 😂 it was so suspicious and I knew it would be game changing because of the description and that fact alone
Its not really the case you have to be extremely lucky to obtain it before, the way I obtained it was farming the easiest hard intercept (for me) they have a pretty high chance on dropping transcended modules and then combining 4 of them into one got it after like 3hrs of farming tho so was quite some time investment and has the chance to last indefinitely longer.
If you don't have "Afterglow sword" then just use the "recipient unknown", its literally not even a rare, its standard and its top 3 for weakpoint dps in the entire game right under that other sniper.
I want to clarify before someone replies to this. By weakpoint DPS, I am referring to a video where the numbers were all pulled from the game, showing the actual true dps numbers in each example, such as crit dps, weakpoint only shots dps (which is the obvious one to look at for snipers), as well as what the game shows; base dps.
When it comes to bossing, you're essentially always caring about weakpoint DPS, this is why handcannons and snipers can actually shred bosses faster than anything else if you hit your shots, despite their dps numbers not looking worth it at all.
The DPS number in this game is very misleading.

Under the vid i've recommended Forest Gaze. Recipient is decent sniper rifle and while leveling i used it much. But in situation of weakspot critdmg hit - Gaze wins. It has a bit less base dmg but more critdmg modifier (x2 -> x1.8) aswell as you can roll 4 stats on Gaze, even 1 blue weakspot/atk/critdmg gives a lot. Gaze also has 5% more base critchance. Not critting cuz u don't have full moduled sniper yet is a real pain.
So i'd say the sequence is Recipient -> Gaze -> Afterglow
Yeah I never trust paper dos numbers in these games Division taught me that one the “DPS” number doesn’t calculate all the bonus damage from weakpoint and crits properly
paper dps is even worse then the in game dps. remember this boss isnt sitting still and waiting for you to hit it. on that list shotguns outdamage damn near everything. in game do they do that?

A tip when using snipers (or anything else with ammo issues) you can slot a second weapon of the same ammo type and use max ammo and ammo conversion mods to pickup ammo on so that you can get the benefits of ammo conversion without having to mod it on your main weapon.

Ammo conversion doesnt work if u have full ammo , u dont pick up the brick means u dont convert , and any ammo is capped even if u dont use a wep with that type of ammo. Also ppl run out of ammo when they pick up a brick for 20-30 bullets instead of using all of it and get 400 back . Its esencially same ammo pool , the only difference is how u pick them up , if u have no discipline u will pick up the bricks cause of the bigger capacity , if u know when to pick up , u wont have any problem. From the videos i saw ppl are not capped on ammo so they can pick up a brick and maybe it converts ( its not 100% chance)

Youd probably do even more damage with the other ult sniper i forget its name but id look into that. Afterglow is really good for consecutive shots if thats what you like. Where as the other one is just one big ass damage shot you can do that triggers when you shoot and it takes you out of stealth.

Quick question : If you're running Overcharged Edge, why are you HP stacking? The transcendent utilizes 50% of your shield, this amount consumed impacts how much damage boost you're getting from ambush first shot. Additionally, on Afterglow, you're running fatal critical, whereas I would focus more on your raw crit damage for bigger one shots as the crit hit chance is already pretty high @ 50%. Something like concentration priority allows you to get up to 33% crit damage vs the 17% fatal critical gives you (assumed maxed mods).
This is genuine curiosity and not meant to be confrontational, I just see there's things in the game that can bump that damage way up. Technically you're already one-two shotting parts on bosses so maybe the additional room for damage doesnt really matter and you woud rather surviviability.
Because it consumes flat out 50% of ur shield no matter if u have 1 shield or 30k. Someone said they used it with overwhelming HP which turns hp to shield and caps ur shield to 1. Then when u use invis it stays "full" shield cuz the game rounds up. That guy was big brain. I remember I tried increasing my shield to test the DMG and I didn't notice a difference so I think you're wrong on it increasing DMG.

Because they are the best characters 🤷. While this video is impressive it's more of a sniper build than a Sharen build. The Afterglow sniper is literally meant to kill colossi with big crits

Need I say more? I literally can keep going on how all the “underrated” characters are the best. Gley is lazy, bunny is lazy speedfarm, same with freyna. They overplayed and not the best by any-means, they’re just far easier to get so people are investing in the first.
None of those "underrated" characters are even useful past DH. Blair only carries dead bride and that's his hard stop. Ajax is useful but being tanky is irrelevant when 50k Def is achievable on any descendant, viessa is meh past her ult gimmick and Sharen is the same as Blair. All these e "lazy" characters are the best because they are top performers. The only value coming from the other characters will probably be Ajax and yujin and that's when the big raids get added.

Nasty. How long did it take to farm for Overcharged Edge and the Sniper.
Sniper took me around 9 hours total doing it completely solo on outposts.
Overcharged - got very lucky, 3rd time after molten fortress kill.
Have you tried going full shield to see how much it increases camo dps?
That doesn't matter. I tried increasing shield and it caps out when it takes 50% of ur shield. Shield hp doesn't matter so u can use overwhelming HP which turns ur shield into HP and puts ur shield to 1.

If we are being honest, isn't this kinda just a sniper build and not really much Sharen at all? Sure her stealth buffs the damage of a couple shots in the vid, but if you just kept shooting with the sniper without worrying about using stealth and hit all your weakpoint shots wouldn't the kill only take like 10-15 seconds longer no matter what character you were using?

Thing is - sniper is built in a way you can't hit it all day precisely into weakspots. It has limited number of ammo while Sharen maximizes the potency of each bullet, increasing the dmg x5. You make a fast 5m shot then swap to whatever decent wep and deal dmg for 10 sec, then do another 5m. With basic ammo you can do up to 25m pure dmg just by utilizing those invis shots, not saying about rest dmg. Gley can try to replicate but not into weakspots those 1m crits would be barely 300m.
Fair half of the base comes from sniper rifle, but Sharen just utilizes it greatly with her kit, i'd say most fit
@Exdigosss forgot about how low ammo totals are for heavy. I forget cause I play Gley. But still, the stealth crits were doing 5mil and the regular are 1mil. If you can fire at least 1 round per second, add an extra 4 seconds per stealth shot and the time for Gley to kill if you hit all the shots plus recasting her 3 would only be like 10 more seconds.
Then just get 2 snipers, one to shoot one as ammo feeder, on ammo feeder install maximum ammo extensions and ammo convers mods, when you pickup ammo just switch to ammo feeder. Result is you can get near infinite ammo anyway, yes it will be longer fight but still it's more of sniper build then anything.

@@Exdigosss If you want, there's some fun ammo tech you can do, shown off by a youtuber, AlphaRod in his "Generate near INFINITE AMMO" video.
TL;DR though so you don't need to look it up:
- Since most players do not use all their weapon slots, turn one into an Ammo Mule
- The weapon needs to be of the same Ammo Type as the weapon you want to use
- Place the Blue and Purple rarity Ammo Capacity up Mods for that type of the weapon and you will over DOUBLE the amount you can carry for that weapon.
- You do need to pick up the ammo with that weapon to be equipped to go to the higher capacity, but than can swap back.
- Even without upgrading the weapon's capacity, you can also still add a ammo conversion mod, so that you can pick up even more ammo for the weapon of choice.
- Not mentioned in the video, IF you did increase the capacity (best done if it is on a weapon you'd use on another character, like the Blue Beetle ult sniper is great on Bunny for the removal of debuffs on Colossus', but you wouldn't use on Sharen) and maybe you upgraded said capacity on that weapon, you can now place TWO ammo conversion mods on top of that.
- You should now almost never have ammo issues. Best thing is that you didn't need to take up mod capacity on your main weapon of choice to get the greater capacity.
- Example, doing this for general rounds brings you from a max of 400 to a max of 839 rounds! Picking up ammo off the ground grants +400 per pickup on the general rounds types, while picking up other ammo for conversion still grants +360 ammo back. It's amazing.
I notice a lot of people not talking matching the burst, pierce etc damage types. I wonder how much of a factor this plays in. It’s like the primary thing thr game alerts you to
right now builds in this game are game breaking, akin to borderlands builds where you get to the point of not having to worry about small things like matching elements. When you get to the point where you are killing things that take minutes into seconds, you build around yourself rather than building around the boss. Early game things like that matter, late game, weapons and characters can be way overtuned.
That's nuts cant wait till i finally get overcharged edge.

@@Reiberino I'd say Sniper is essential, too much win of buffing sniper's critdmg into weakspot. Shotgun doesn't have that dmg with single hit even if you crit into weakspot so buffing it by literally x5 is less profitable.

As a new Sharen main, this warms my heart. I just farmed the Piercing Light sniper yesterday, but looking at this it feels like that was a waste of time. How does the piercing light compare to the forest gaze and the afterglow?
Piercing light - deal insane amounts of damage with a single shot from invisibility.
Afterglow sword - less damage per shot, but you need to keep shooting.
Up to you which style you like more
@@chukksy but it’s not less dmg per shot. It has a 2x crit multiplier while the piercing light only has a 1.2x multiplier despite having higher base dmg. You also have lower base crit on the piercing light so you will crit less often. I know this because I have the piercing light myself. It’s been outdamaging the forest gaze by a bit, but no way it can dmg the afterglow

Do you play with very little shield to maximize speed to reach the maximum threshold of your invisibility passive?
To reach that 15% required shield as fast as possible so i can cast invis 24/7 without waiting for shield to recharge

Where did you get the Strengthen First Shot from? I've done about 15 Obstruct fights and 10-15 of the missions that have a 5% drop rate - maybe my RNG is just that bad lol

Yes. Just every boss has it's own basic def. Those 5m were like 4,6 into hardmode molten fortress.
Every character can be good but the most need a loot of catalyst and a Activator 🙂

I've been doing similar damage using Melting Round then Analyst Master on a Beam Rifle to lower their critical resistance.
But super disappointing about the shield module, I wanted to run a one HP shield build. They need to adjust that module cause shields are officially useless at this point.
What if you used overwhelming hp, would that just mean always consuming 100% shield?
EDIT: just tested this in lab with a scout rifle, seems to do the same damage when that 1 shield is consumed.

@@cross1115 it does, but I suspected (and sort of tested/confirmed) that it scales off the % of shield it takes rather than raw value.
So if I only have 1 shield due to overwhelming hp mod, it activates at 100% shield(rather than being able to activate at 15% shield) and takes away 100% of shield at all times and always caps the bonus at the max value of 50%.

Please anyone here in these comments or youtuber himself I need help. I put 300k kuiper and 3mil gold into this Strengthen First Shot Mod and it isnt working. I'm using it on my R4 guardian launcher that only has one shot before reload and it doesnt seem to improve my damage.
I'm pretty sure it strengthens the shot, meaning impact/bullet. Not explosive damage. Not sure tho. Gonna have to try it on another launcher

This is more of weapon build then anything. Her invisibility doeas speed up things but invest in any weapon so much and you will get very similar result. She is still overall weakest.
If anything, those tier lists are more of an investment tier list, where you're probably gonna get more return from high-tiered characters like Bunny with very little investment compared to characters like Sharen who needs extraneous setup to be even considered good.
I mean give that weapon to gley and she'll have the same damage but with unlimited ammo.

I honestly saw this coming when I read what the Afterglow sword was, im close to getting. Will be dumping my time into a build for considering it may be one of the only actual good heavy weapons

TLDR:
Sniper = Good Crit dmg multiplier and weakpoint multiplier
combined with Sharens Overcharged Edge Multiplier and Strengthen First Shot = Giga damage vs colossus parts
So you stack crit, weakpoint and firearm atk on you sniper, but you have to invest quite a bit into it

You can literally do the same thing with a Standard rarity (blue) sniper, the Recipient Unkown. So I'm going to have to say you are incorrect.
@@viixby9481 What's your point here. You can do the same amount of damage with Valby and just a little bit less with gley, but more consistent so you'll actually kill it sooner. All you need is a maxed out sniper. If you have a 78 cap blue sniper who can do the same great for you but I call it a loss.

It's just like ~7% better than Forest Gaze in terms of dps. But it also provides crit chance so more crits and less rng. That's why it's better to focus on Afterglow.
