    You are a machine, right now I find you the best and most complete role model as a prospective CS student starting in fall. Your work ethic is insane and you possess leadership qualities imo.

    Thanks for making this really helpful video! Just a small question: do you think the geographical location of my university will limit my chances of finding a freshman internship?

    great advice! I'm surprised with your coding background/expertise that this is the first internship you got! did you make a serious effort before hand? red hat is a well known brand so huge congrats and are you nervous, excited?

      Nah I didn't make an effort beforehand because there was no point, companies don't really hire people under the age of 18.

    What's a good way to come up with side projects ? I'm technically coming into college as a sophomore despite being my first year because of dual credit, however I'm only taking an intro cs class and will get more cs classes next semester so I am unsure of what to put in my resume. Any suggestions ?

      @@SiddhantDubey Thanks for the github link man. I'm thinking of following a few of the tutorials int it and create some projects but I'm worried that it might hinder my ability to work on a project on my own.

    This was def helpful - did they tell you if it was going to be a behavioral or technical interview? Was it typically behavioral or technical that came first?

      @SiddhantDubey  Před rokem +2

      Yeah they'll tell you. Technical interviews have usually come first in my experience.

    Hi Siddhant,
    Currently an incoming freshmen with limited coding knowledge looking to apply for freshmen/sophomore software engineering internships. You mentioned that we should practice Leetcode before the interview, but understanding data structures and algorithms is necessary for these Leet Code questions. Is it still possible for me to apply and get accepted into these internships without the knowledge of data structures and algorithms, or should I wait until I self-learn the course work before applying.

    • @ayushs6812
      @ayushs6812 Před 10 měsíci

      I doubt it. You can’t pass interviews and OAs without data structures and algorithms class

    Hey Siddhant,
    Your video was super informative brother. It's always good to see what other people experienced
    In terms of your ability to get an interview, did your program already teach Data Structures + Algorithms in your first year because I'm assuming most of those companies require a basic understanding of DSA before the technical interview?
    Most universities teach DSA by like end of 2nd year or 3rd year, I'm assuming.
    Thanks bro !
