Clever use of background music! I recognized it from the movie instantly. 😂

You could make the board blue and make the pieces look more like dingheys.

I wasnʼt overbored at all! A fan of abstracts, Iʼm glad youʼre enjoying this series-I have a few of Lakesideʼs, though not this one in particular. In a rather hilarious episode of Bowerʼs Game Corner (czcams.com/video/pQxrEZGtSVA/video.html), Forrest did express some…ah, _frustration_ at the gameʼs central mechanic/gimmick. Have you had any trouble with it to speak of? I thought your water suggestion was pretty good, but then the slimy Romp Thru the Swamp variation was priceless. And nice job on the swipes between gameboard states. Thanks! 👍

I have to say I've not had any problems with the sliding mechanic, though it will get stuck on occasion, it's not often at all and very easily fixed. It makes me happy that you appreciate the swipes between initial setups - that took 3 takes! The first time I didn't notice I bumped the board between shots 2 and 3, so in editing they didn't line up properly - cue re-filing the whole segment... And then when THAT was refilmed I noticed in editing that when I was talking about it being symmetrical it WASN'T symmetrical because I had a red and a white in the wrong place on the 4th shot, so had to film the whole thing again! lol

@@AtticRaidersRetroReviews I often think about the videomaking process; even if I donʼt comment on every extra‐effort shot that you, Luke, et al. make, rest assured the results do get appreciated! One doesnʼt even need to be pointing cameras at things to share in the same sort of travails. For example, during some downtime at work yesterday, I played Connect 4×4 (the two‐to‐four‐player Connect Four with the double‐layered vertical board) with some co‐workers; afterward, to put it away, one of my co‐workers and I started dropping pieces in, trying to create a symmetric layout just for the heck of it. But at one point I flubbed it and at another he did, but in both cases we pushed the offending pieces upward and out with a little effort and managed to fix the problem without having to start over. Then, when we were nearly done, somehow the slider at bottom slid, and-WHOOSH! there went all the pieces. So, we did it all over again-this time, with no foul‐ups. Another co‐worker walked in and saw what were doing but didnʼt know why and thought we were playing the most intense round of Connect Four _ever!!_ 😀 😀 😀 😀
The moral of the story is: Keep up the good work! (OK, that has nothing to do with my story, but keep it up anyway!)

@@Erik.Miller Ah no.... That sort of thing happens all too frequently! Speaking of extra effort shots - I think you may appreciate my latest video - it's the most technically ambitious yet! :D
