Hello fashion friends!!! Today I am going through all of the fashion design projects I made during college and RATING them!!! So I'm just going to drop this tip because of your comments about the silk dress you made senior year (the beading is to die for btw). I got this tip from another youtuber (if I can remember who it was I'll make an edit and drop the name). When working with really slippery fabrics like silk they become easier to work with if you wash and dry the fabric (obviously do a test swatch since some fabrics will lose a lot of their shine when you do this) and then use spray on starch like your life depends on it. The fabric will handle almost exactly like a lightweight cotton twill and once you wash it to remove the starch all the lovely drape comes back (which is why you want to prewash with water).

The wizard jacket material looks a little stiff I like it. But maybe if it were on a different material & longer of course. But I love this vid amazing job at all items. Really enjoyed your drawings too!

I learned on Kaledo too! We used Kaledo and a few other products from Lectra Suite, what a throwback. I hated those softwares though, because of their incompatibility with the Mac operating systems. I had to partition my Mac to be half Mac and half PC just to use them, which was super annoying. Guess it makes sense that I work in tech now lol

Lol, my fav might be the ‘trippy’ dress which I find funny, cuz I hate trippy, but your definition & mine are different, in large part cuz I live in Humboldt county, notorious for hippies & weed. So yeah, lots of tie-dye and psychedelic stuff. I would just call your dress quirky with a splash of ‘unicorn palette.’😅. There was someting else I really liked, but I’m still kinda half asleep, sooo…🤷♀️🤦♀️.

What college did you attend? I'm interested in fashion as well so I'm searching for colleges to go to when I get to the age to do so ^^
What color do you use to paint your clothes as per your design..I have used acrylic but they dont feel nice when touched.
You can try mixing the acrylic with a fabric paint medium kinda thing. It turns it into fabric paint, or you can paint with fabric paint but pay attention to the finish on the fabric paint cuz I bought puffy-gloss paint before and that was a mistake

@@KianaBonollo there was this guy who walked around NC States campus with a green cloak on. I’m not sure what year he was but when I was at NCSU (I was there from 8/15 until 7/17) I saw him repeatedly around campus. Didn’t matter what weather it was, he wore the cloak, haha
