My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married at age 19, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. Just an FYI, you don’t need to go to the ER for a finger sprain/break. Urgent care should be able to treat that and get you in and out and much cheaper. Hope he’s ok now! 😊
And most orthopedics don’t need a referral, so she could have just waited and called a clinic and got him in.

She did go to urgent care ours is also a urgent care/ER room
Some Urgent Care is in the ER. People call them both ER. The front nurse screens you and sends you which side to go to.

Jess, wasps absolutely can and do make nests in trucks. I had a nest behind one of my side view mirrors, like in it in it behind the mirror part in between the mirror part and the plastic mirror housing.
Yes wasps can make a nest in the truck. My friends old truck had one right in the grill.

This happened to me some years ago - I was mopping a tile floor and slipped and landed on one hand. My dad talked me into going to the ER, even though it was already late in the evening. I went and they said that some small bone might have broken and they put a splint on it and referred me to hand specialist. She then told me that the only way to confirm is to take multiple xrays over a week or so...if it was broken, they'll see changes on those Xrays as it heals. Turns out it wasn't broken. But I learned something interesting.

I raised 3 boys and a daughter. The boys for a 5 year stretch, kept us and our local emergency room busy between broken bones, stitches and head injuries.
We even had a home visit from child protective services. They came and saw our home and then saw them playing. Apologize and left. They’re all grown now and boys of their own that keep them on their toes just like they kept us on ours.
In my family it’s me who kept the ER/urgent care going. I’m like Kysen, I have a high pain tolerance. My mom had to talk me into going every time. Between soccer, softball, basketball and dance injuries, I’m pretty sure my mom paid for en entire hospital.
@@mcrchickenluvr our middle boy once rode his bike without his helmet which was a big no no as far as rules go. On his 10 birthday he decided he wasn’t gonna follow the rules. He fell an hit his head during his birthday party. We made sure he was ok: ice pack checked him over and he seemed fine. He had his party:Pizza, video games, sleep over etc.
The next morning he asked why his friends were there!!!! Straight to the emergency room, CT scan the whole thing. The attending physician came in with a helmet and fit him for it.
We never had a problem with him wearing a helmet again. We were so lucky.
The last time someone in our house (me, mum, dad, 2 sisters) went to the ER was exactly 2 months ago. I got rsv and was admitted.
rsv isnt usually serious in people my age but i have weaker lungs.

Glad it wasn't broken. Also, wasps can definitely have nests in vehicles - they continually build one in my side mirrors, if I don't keep my Sienna in the garage. Super annoying.
I remember when I broke my ankle, it took almost 20hours to find out what happened and that it was broken. I had sprained it before but the next morning it hurt even worse and I begged to go in. Had to get a cast and then two days later surgery. It sucked so bad. 😅I feel for the kids, breaking a bone ain’t fun, so I hope it ain’t broken.

i haven´t broken any bones before till the beginning of this year then i broke my wrist i needed a operation also. i had fallen of my bike on my way to work. it still hurts sometimes during work but i can manage it

I’ve had tons of jammed fingers from playing volleyball. Tape the finger to the one beside it for a week or two and it’s fine. He plays soccer so he doesn’t use his hands as much so it will heal quicker. I always had contact with the ball and it took longer. Won’t be the last time it happens! Just get some athletic tape in the soccer bag!

Be careful not to change or take out your earrings too soon because it may cost them to close up so then you have to poke him to through every time end it is not very fun because I have done that in the past
from experience i jammed my finger while catching a ball, it became swollen, but i still kept playing and then i ran into someone and it jammed again. (i was at fb practice) Then after that my pinky looked like the same thing Kadens pinky looked like. I broke my pinky and had to wear like a plastic splint that covered my pinky and my ring finger. I had to wear that for like 3-4 weeks then i had to wear tape for like 1-2 weeks. Love u guys! and hope Kaden will feel better soon!!

100% wasps will nest in a car! Check the grill, behind door handles and headlights/taillights. We had nests in all those places lol

Yes bees can have a nest in autos. We had two different trucks and bth have had nest in them. We sprayed them. We didn’t think it could happen. But after about the 20Th time at different locations of seeing them around front of trucks then we knew for sure. Spray front of truck and also around the front window. We had lights on top around the windows and also found them there.
Fun fact: I have 10-year-old twin grandangels. A boy and a girl. The boy's head comes to the girl's shoulder! They have a big brother who is 14 and almost 6ft tall. People think that the girl twin and the 14-year-old are the twins. So funny! Boy twin will catch up when puberty hits.........we hope.....🤣🤣🤣

I asked my husband who is a diesel mechanic and he said it is absolutely possible for bees/ wasps to have a nest in a vehicle that is used daily.
They can make nest in a car they could be building a nest under the hood of the car and they just see it as being a nice and warm pace for them to live in of course this means they need to go in and out of the grille to reach their nest I got it off Google

My brother in law has had this old non running Ford Ranger sitting in his parents yard and we just learned there's a wasp nest INSIDE the gas tank!!!!!
I had a Ford ranger and one day a wasp got in behind my gas cap and when I opened it to pump gas it flew out and stung me multiple times in the hand...I have a sensitivity to insect bites and stings... My hand was swollen like a balloon for almost a week. I wasn't able to close it and I was unable to work as it was my writing hand and I did paperwork for my company. I couldn't even hold my pen 😅

My son had a pierced ear when he was a teen. Another very young kid got tangled up with his earring and ripped his whole ear lobe off. My son was so mad.

Pro tip- most urgent cares will do X-rays and stitches both. My son broke his arm on the monkey bars at school. Took him to urgent care they xrayed it, confirmed the break, splinted it, and referred us to the orthopedic doctor. All in less than an hour. 🙌🏻
I have been to so many urgent cares that don’t do X-rays!!

Not much to do for a broken finger unless it’s broken in a growth plate or needs surgery to fix 3 broken fingers that are broken apart. My youngest son broke his thumb and he was in a cast for 4 weeks and my middle son fell and broke his fingers and was in surgery the next day following a cast and then therapy for him to move them. He is now 23 and has deformed fingers still.

I jammed my finger really bad in 10th grade. I was playing football in p.e. And the football hit right in the joint of my finger. It took a month to heal
