We decide to see if it's possible to spend a day on Yas Island on a Frugal Travellers budget 😁
In this video we show:
• Bus travel in Abu Dhabi
• Budget breakfast option

• The entrance to Ferrari World
• Free bus routes around Yas Island
• Art installations along the Yas Bay Waterfront
We ended up getting tired so went home earlier than expected... back to Masdar City for another delicious canteen meal!

I can't believe that you can find so many cheap, good eateries. It's about thinking outside the box. I can remember eating in the university café and the railway workers dinner in Venice because it was so cheap and delicious.

I can't actually think of our best value meal... the €7.95 menu do dia at the South African restaurant in Cascais would have to be up there, as it was an incredible tasty and filling find in such an expensive location!

Everything they have built is beautiful, they have jaw dropping buildings / artworks but I somehow find the place soulless.

You manage to show us the "other side", i.e. where 'non-frugals' enter, of these places and yet keep it relatively cheap.
As awe inspiring as some of these parks and malls are they don't compare to a walk through a Potuguese market or a Spanish beach or an Italian park.

Is Laban middle eastern Ayran ?
Thanks to this, I've just discovered that they ae different, with laban being made from milk directly that is made to ferment and is then strained. Ayran is made by mixing yogurt with water and salt. It's so interesting, so thank you for your great question ! ~ Mandy 😀😁

If you have the time, and can find the type of accommodation you're after, I think it would be a great idea to stay in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and have "the village" and "the city" experiences 😀😁 ~ Mandy
