  • The Zenbook DUO takes the normal formula of a dual screen laptop and makes the format not only exciting but also super useful. Its so adaptable and well focused towards mobile productivity that it ends up making all other Windows laptops look a bit....boring.

    This might actually beat out the Surface Pro devices for some people. I've been waiting!

    • @Laughing_Individual
      @Laughing_Individual Před 5 měsíci +3

      We can only wait and see. The Surface pro still destroys them when it comes to pen support. Plus they'll be using ARM processors now, meaning better power efficiency compared to x86.

    • @altairquten
      @altairquten Před 5 měsíci

      This obviously depends on what you're doing exactly, but I'll need my x64 hardware and the pen experience will be bad anyway, because of the weak software that you might use. Pens and Windows are still weird in my experience. So I'll take that compromise to gain one full size screen and a wireless keyboard, especially at that proposed price. The Surface objectively loses this battle. and I couldn't imagine actually switching from the MS devices for the last decade, as the versatile formfactor did pretty much everything for me. Running virtually any piece of software, emulation, drawing, writing, gaming and so much more. Not to mention all the problems ARM and Windows still bring, but I'll not open that can of worms, right now. All of these things are highly individualistic and I'm sure there'll be a nice new device for almost anyone!@@Laughing_Individual

    This is the ULTIMATE thin-n-light notebook. The power, connectivity,, featureset, build quality, AND pricing are ALL great. Not insanely amazing, but just really fucking solid. For a completely new kind of mobile device, that's incredibly hard to pull off on the first generation - especially with pretty much zero problems. Well done.

      I am not convinced. The fact that the keyboard is not usable for the lap is a huge issue for many people like me, that works from the couch, train, bus, plane etc... A phenomenal implementation by Asus. They continue to impress. This laptop will be my 2nd Asus laptop. They just do things right while still continuing to innovate. A laptop like this is a SUPER game changer and I believe will change the laptop landscape. SHouts to the Lennovo Yoga 9i who have a similar design which is also veey good. BUT only 60hrz and smaller screen. Asus OLED is a bit punchier and bigger and the entire package incluidng the pen and keyboard are all included and implemented in a way that is more cohesive and portable. Thank you Asus for continuing to push the envelope.

    Damn, the price is not outrageous... Too bad it doesn't have discreet GPU as that would make it a no brainer offer.

    I LOVE this laptop, but I don't think I would be buying one, for I won't be able to afford it at the moment, and second I feel that the userbase for it is very, very niche.

    It´s a shame it doesn´t have a dedicated GPU, I guess that will keep some people from getting who might have been really interested in it.

    Only Thing I do not get is why not make it 360degree foldable? The setup is perfect for it and it would turn it from a really great laptop idea to an immediate buy for me.
    having 2 touch screens that I can use in pyramid mode or even tablet mode would be perfect, for work as well (i.e. showing something to a colleague when no screen is available or even F2F co-working on something...)
    Maybe 2025 😢
