I think hill ran a 20.14 his senior yr, this is amazing considering his horrible running form, fixing the form alone would help him get under 20 seconds, along with actual full time training, he would've definitely been a medalist at one of these Olympics
This is elite. Especially for a high schooler. The Olympics isn’t the only event where great times are set. The Prefontaine Classic this year might have the best 200m field ever.

The fact that usain bolts world record is almost a whole second faster is crazy as hell..a second is a very long time in these sprint races.
That is awesome and faster than I could have ever run. However, Erryion Knighton has blown the bell curve for everyone. 17 years old, 4th in the Olympics, 19.84. Nothing anyone does in the HS sprints is going to be impressive for a long time.

For his body type and how he accelerates, I actually think he has good form. If he drove his knee higher it would make his stride frequency slower, same thing with driving his arms more up to his cheek, it would make his steps slower, and tyreek is a frequency type of a sprinter.

A former D1 player I know recalled a story during his redshirt year when his school played against Okie State the year Tyreek was there. Hill got the ball on a reverse/end around and sprinted past the opponent sideline. The sheer wake of his running and blur of his speed had my friend thinking... "Maybe I don't belong here. I've never seen a human being move that fast." As a Chiefs fan, there was a definite grieving process after losing the Cheetah in that trade.
