It’s a game called Saratoga. They have a whole Saratoga tournament in the US once a year, although I’ve never gone to it.
In the 4th frame with Rich, Efren made three balls on the break/two of which were solids (that he ended up going for).

And the hilarious thing is... in a _certain sense,_ he's right.
He *loves* watching new players play because they're less technical and more likely to make those unplanned, amazingly lucky, impressive shots. And he's got a *fantastic* visual memory. He can then go back home and set up a table to replicate that very lucky shot he saw, and practice it _himself._ He'd just keep practicing those "lucky shots" until he can just do them *on demand.*
Then... he waits. He's got this incredible catalog of "lucky shots" kept in his brain, all of which he's practiced to hell and back, *in addition* to just being great at the basic fundamentals of the game, which is just a bunch of triangles. So when he spots a table arrangement close enough to a "lucky shot" that he thinks he can match up, he'll go for it, adjusting as needed for any small differences.
So he *does* "get lucky", just like he says... it's just he "gets lucky" on-demand, consistently. When you say "I'll pull a King of Clubs from a deck of cards" and about 2% of the time you can do it, those times you do you "got lucky". But when you say "I'll pull the King of Clubs from a deck of cards", and 80% of the time you can do it, you're a Magician, because you practiced how to "get lucky" most of the time.

I really hated how Rich always concede.. Even in the rack that he was going to win, he looks at Efren like "are you going to concede?"... Efren probably was thinking "I won't concede, if you miss, you miss.", at Efren's last shot of that match, when Rich concede with that "chill down dude" movement, Efrens faces says "Just let me play .."

bullshit on that bank shot. it was a bank to the corner, he missed by a little and because of the reverse that was on the ball it straightened out and traveled down the long rail into the opposite pocket. I have had that happen dozens of times. anyone who commentates should understand the game before trying to describe what he sees.
