- Following his historic win in the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, where he became just the sixth back-to-back winner of "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," Josef Newgarden gave the annual winner's speech at the Indy 500 Victory Celebration Monday night in Downtown Indianapolis.
This guy is a class act. He his a true competitor, he works hard, he celebrates with the fans, he acknowledges his crew and fellow drivers. This guy makes NTT IndyCar better because who he is! Thank you Josef for a GREAT IndyCar race at the fame Brickyard.
Congratulations, Josef! Your a humble champion and a great competitor!

Just like he said about Pato, IndyCar is lucky to have him. Newgarden is an incredible driver and a great ambassador for IndyCar

Went to my first Indianapolis 500 last year and became a Josef Newgarden fan because of the class act he is. Would love to see him try and qualify for the Daytona 500 race in a stock car. I believe he has the talent to do so..
Fun seeing one of the speeches, can we have more of these please? I know these get broadcast in Indiana, don't know if that is the case anywhere else though.
