Yeah the demonic animals have a chance to spawn in any animal location and they are a painful surprise. Expert tip, you need to harvest all demonic creatures with a pick to get the demon blood.

Hey there¬ just subscribed to your channel. I started playing about a year ago and I'm pretty much addicted to the game now. I've got to say your video is very convincing to anyone remotely interested in Conan and trying to decide whether to start playing this. So despite the Demonic Shaleback wanting you for lunch, you're doing a great job!

This is one of my favorite games. Even though I recently started falling through the floor and losing my body/contents.
I played it for a few hours and liked it a lot but after a while I'm like ok, what do you do? Where's the content? Once you've established yourself so you're not in danger of just dying, what do you DO?
I'm from an rpg background. This was my first survival game.
They don't have quests in the traditional sense. You are simply meant to survive and explore the world. The storytelling is done through the environment, people and places you come across, ruins and the like.
Pvp can be fun, conan is more fun with a large group of friends
There are multiple Dungeons and Bosses. Some of them Drop certain Quest Items that you need.
Just started playing it and I love it. These types of games are my style. Looking forward to soulmask also.

Been playing about 2 years & it's evolving constantly still. I was surprised how good it is. It's not great at 1 thing but really good at a lot. I have the complete edition so I especially love all the building, DLC skins, etc.. Even plain though the game is great & it's always on sale. I agree & would 100% recommend it. I'm looking forward to Dune Awakening. I'm skeptical but tryin ta be hopeful. :)

I have not played this update but this fall I played a ton. War 3 I think. Combat was tits!!! Roaming around... killing stuff... having a blast. They have def improved combat to the point it's like destiny with guns. Ppl play destiny for the gun play. Conan combat was that good

I've been wanting to try this game but I've seen alot of clipping. like standing inside a monster player is in combat with, that really takes me out of it. Is that still an issues?

I've played off and on since launch. I don't play on public servers anymore because of rampant cheating in PvP. In my experience, the best way to enjoy the game is as a team-based PvE experience on a private server, ala Enshrouded, or with a carefully selected group of online friends on a PvP blitz server (think start, gather, craft, build, raid over a single long weekend). I have played the story as a single player game and there are 11 dungeons that are "worth it" if you love a good, non-spamable, non-speedrun dungeon like I do. The story of Conan Exiles is excellent and very true to Howard's lore, thank Crom, and the variety of builds is high enough to shake things up a bit on a new playthrough. Good stuff, bud!

@@Renfail They definitely can be done solo at level 60 with no mods and a strong build (challenge). It's a little easier with the right follower(s) but beware as at least one end game boss in a story dungeon is widely considered to be a thrall killer. In a perfect world, we would run you up and through them all in a full group of 4, but I know time is a factor.
It’s cause you’d get bodied on PvP it’s ok
@@B_Ryno_56GP Thank you for being the prime, sweaty example of why Pure PvP servers have almost completely died out in favor of RP or PvE servers. Good luck with that try hard attitude
@@Deltasoldier89 how all I do is PvP and I do it the right way no lag switch, or mesh bases, or meshing to raid people play the right way
I used to play Ark PvE a lot. I moved over to Conan Exiles after I burned out on Ark. I enjoyed my time in Conan but IMO the maps were better in Ark. Conan only has two maps. Also people talk about how broken Ark is. From my experience Conan is just as broken as Ark and every single seasonal event destroys the balance of the game.
Combat in first person is a setting just FYI. Its better with people though

I remember loving this game then they did some update and it became absolutely unplayable on ps4. I was stuttering like crazy, my frame just tanked and didn’t see a way to fix it

tbh if you are on base ps4 id get a PS4 pro as it's quite outdated isn't game is the hardware being pretty old
@@Renfailor if on a budget upgrade HDD to a SSD as the speed difference is pretty big especially on pc if you was to play kcd on HDD it's unplayable where as on SSD with same hardware is like a new game also side notes HDD has bearings more moving parts so it is common for them to go bad so you could get cheap 512ssd to help improve performance
I'm currently downloading this off of gamepass. Should I play single player mode or multi? I like to interact with people but will I get anywhere being new in multi-player?

Play pve , you get the multiplayer expierence and no one kills you

I loved STRANDED WITHOUT A PHONE & the lite crafting was cool.

I built a massive property. I had to uninstall the game. I wasn't getting anything else done. It's a bit too much fun. Small map but so much to do. If you are builder, beware. Also, switching between a game with mods and without mods is super easy.
