Can i just confirm something- you said to pull out your weapon when you press jump. Ive heard that you should press the weapon input right before you slide (crouch). Im confused now
Take it out before you slide it'll be out faster 100%,, if you are doing a normal slide jump from a standstill, or from strafing sideways you can take it out just before you press forward! so normal slide jump: unholster -> forward+ tap sprint ->take one step->slide ->jump(keep holding forward when you jump but you shud let it go straight after till just before you land to do wall jumps and tapstrafes). or you can unholster just before you slide, but after pressing forward ur gun will be out a tiny bit later, do whichever is easiest for you tho, just dont take it out after itl be alot slower. If you are doing a Faide slide: (on hold to crouch you can tap sprint anytime before the slide jump, I press it when I let go of crouch ) shoot and strafe -> go back in cover-> crouch+ press n hold forward -> holster->(if on toggle crouch then press sprint and you'll uncrouch automatically)/(if on hold to crouch then release ur crouch bind)->unholster->slide->jump->let go of forward until you land. Timing is important so play around w/ it till ya get it x Hope this helps! :3
best is to unholster before sliding ( no lack of speed to slide jump and the gun being able to shoot while doing the jump). The only reason not to unholster before slide jump, is that the mechanic is easier to do (less key to press for the faide slide).
You have to be over a certain velocity. So yes and no. Can do it with abilities. Or by turning right before you slide. You could also hit a tap strafe into the ledge slide. You can get quite creative with it. I’d practice it in the range!
