Given that the new Echo comparable version can sing to any song you can play on the echo, I imagine that’s why the have only one not two licensed song two for this version.

The movements return to their neutral position on their own with a spring; at least they're supposed to. The head doesnt seem to work particularly well.

The first motor actually drives both the head and tail. It spins one way to flip the tail and it moves the other way to make the head lift. There's another motor further inside to run the mouth.
What's that? I guessed the 1 motor had 2 rods connected to something else that the shaft was connected to which pushed the back or front out when the motor spins.
Ifixit screwdriver and bits are JUNK. Amy screwdriver you see, that has bits with a bright finish, is junk. (This is a general rule of thumb, and it doesn't clover every base.) Look for black bits. Same goes for Allen/hex keys. Buy some Wera/Wiha screwdrivers. The cellphone opening implements can be bought separately too. Although old credit cards and gift certs work great too. Just cut them up into the shape you need. You don't need an iFixIt kit. That being said, it doesn't make the op's comment any less dumb.
