- Today on my journey starting from scratch trying to become a scratch golfer, I have a d1 college golfer on the channel to do match play for 18 holes. But she also teaches me course management, how to better at golf as a beginner, and shows some amazing golf shots on the course. Enjoy!

I am amazed how good you have become in 3 months!..you have a very good swing...once short game gets in order you will be a single handicap...love your all in attitude.

As far as I can tell, for someone who has only took up golf for a bit more than 3 months, your swing has drastically improved. When you stay within your tempo and rhythm like you have done lately with Chris giving you lessons, you hit the ball very well. Like your 190-5 six iron. For anyone amateur that's really good. As a beginner that's insane. It's gonna take a few seasons I would think to get to your goal if you can be patient and practice a lot and with intensions and sticking with your lessons. That is if you don't go broke 1st.😁
Would be nice to have the camera zoom in to the ball landing during shots. makes for a more immersive video. Love the series!

Great video! I've always felt like I play better with better golfers so kudos to you for bringing someone that can elevate your game by just being around. Maybe some subtle background music would be nice to fill moments between shots? Just a thought, keep up the hard work!
Jerome....you're doing great. The only thing i'll point out is that you're aiming too far right but, everything else you're doing is great. The few golf etiquette suggestions mentioned here will become natural for you as you continue to play.

Why don’t you do a short video on how to get a USGA GHIN handicap and the features geared toward game improvements?
Hey Jerome, great stuff so far and this is a very humbling game regardless of what level we all get to. I definitely see all the comments about not grabbing the flag and some of the etiquette. That comes with time. There are pros who still have no etiquette today. I get it that you are filming for the camera and might forget some of it, especially the flag. Basically if you are not the last person putting, you should get that flag.
