It has a great melody, the beat is solid, it's R&B influenced, the chorus fuses into the verses so it's less prominent but the "take care to..." part stands out. The lyrics are great as usual, the "i know, i need, to feel, release" hook is euphoric
It's all a matter of taste, listen to it more and if you don't like it *at least* stop trying to make it out to be some big "intellectual" debate when it's something completely fucking _objective_ like music. You are *not* smart or *interesting* at _all_ for liking a set group of certain things. It is about what you do in life, not what you think is good or bad, at least when it comes to something as ultimately _trivial_ as music.

I've been listening to chvrches for 3 years now and they are a truly gifted group! Laurens vocals are amazingly captivating! Never ending circles was what led me to keep wanting to hear everything they have made! Im wishing they come around the Midwest again soon! Keep up the awesome music!

What I love this track - and I'm writing as I listen to it for the first-time - is the clean production and the hints of Lauren's accent in her singing voice. The lyrics are great, too.

It's pleasing how Lauren looks as delicate as her voice and the musical arrangement sounds, and the soft colors look. The haze in the video makes it seem surreal, as if she were in her internal place of safety and comfort, close to completely healing her emotional wounds. She looks vulnerable in a beautiful way. Coming to peace with herself, accepting things for what they were and preparing to finally close the chapter of a broken romance. That's what I visualize due to her tranquility during the storm that seems to cease as she softly dances in the water... and that guy behind the fog, it shows how distant he is from her, since she is leaving him behind. Barely visible within her.
I dont think its appropriate for Gods people to dress provocatively . So it leaves much to question. I pray she is healed.

Since I heard a song from this band I can't get enough. I am utterly in love with Lauren. She's one of the most beautiful women in this planet. When I heard her voice for the first time, I had no doubts she was absolutely beautiful. Wasn't wrong. In love with her.
My little girl and I dance to this every weekend. We free-form dance and count the time signature at the same time. It has helped her so much with her dance expression. We love it. Ty so much for this music video and track.

All that shit without a beat and pretty boys emoting so hard it sounds like they're straining with constipation. And whatever happened to guitars, drums, bands even, and people without ghetto names? I do my best to understand. I think Chvrches are great but they sure don't enjoy the success of the absolute garbage acts of today.

It's so crazy that I don't typically listen to this kind of music but since finding Chvrches nearly 6 years ago now I have never stopped going back every few months and I'm so excited every time they release new stuff. One of my favorite bands due to their creativity.

Marc Rodrigues, is this your first listen to Chvrches? I got into them when their third album, Love is Dead, dropped and they're easily one of my new favorite bands. Death Stranding, Dead Air, and Warning Call are some of my favorite tracks of theirs that aren't on any of their albums. Also they just released a new song yesterday titled He Said, She said. If you haven't checked any of those out yet I highly recommend it.

Her “a” sound is so relaxing compared to where I’m from. In Ohio all the old people say their “a” sound as twangy as possible like instead of “cat” it’s “kyeeat”, whereas Lauren would say something along the lines of “caht” and “cot”
So soothing for someone who grew up around all the twang, her accent is lovely. Chvrches wouldn’t be the same without her accent

Though this video is more or less minimalist compared to others, I still love it so much. And Lauren looks GORGEOUS in it, as always. I absolutely love the backdrop, too; I kinda wanna live in that foggy, dreamlike expanse. It's so pretty and serene.

@@secularmonk5176 most kids dont listen to the radio because most radio playlist are influenced by $ since new artist know this they mostly stick to the internet not just cause it's cheap and effective exposure but it keeps them from supporting big shady labels.
