Thanks so much for this. I was also stuck with top left homing on Y after installing Cobey's kit. I changed the X setting too as you mentioned and it homed to the bottom left. Success! 👍
Negative - they say on the GEEKSATLARGE web site thst it is not required and works well now... Not a big fan of updating firmware for the sake of it when I don't have to. There is always a chance of bricking these cheap Chinese boards when you do. Only if the benefit warrants it do I like to muck with firmware.😉
