Hi christopher I just wanted to say I spent 10 pounds in my Local shop and in my change I found a Kew gardens 50 pence couldn't belive my luck
It's a tilted partial collar error to be exact! I have a 10p with the same but very cool to see one on a £2 coin
I have FOUR Isle of Man 1999 £2 coins with the incorrect edge, because the WRONG collar was used - they are SEMI milled, when they should've been fully milled. They were discovered, because they were in a coin stacker! The IoM 1999 £2 is rare anyway.
Those Brunel and Double Helix coins look fantatastic in the 22ct gold proof double sovereign format.
i got given 7 new isle of man commemoratives today, it’s made my whole week!
cool
Learn what CAPITAL letters are for!
you were right to double check that Brunel Portrait edge inscription. I've heard that it can have the edge of the Guy Fawkes coin.
hello christopher! it’s been a while since i’ve got a notif for ur channel. hope ur well :)
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
I have a fake (forgery!) 2011 £2 coin, but it has a 90 degree die axis, and more interestingly, a FAR WIDER date! I keep it next to a genuine 2011 on a Lindner tray.
It is indeed a partial collar error. I have one on my channel naturally, along with an explanation of how it happens 😅
More tragedies than the Bee Gees.😊
"People collect fake coins, bizarrely."
Er..........Christopher Ironside ???
😂😉
What do you mean - Christopher Ironside??
The £2 error is the one for me also I save the gun power plot as it's my sister's birthday 🎉
perhaps a pre-hunted set there? lots of common doubles/triples/quadruples, some in rough condition! star find for me is definitely that collar error technologies but I do love a good Florence Nightingale showing up, looks in good condition too!
Christopher I can not believe no one has noticed the 2 pound error. That is on nearly every 2 pound coin I have seen😊
the error one looks like a coin that they put chocolate into
yay i love when a bady fake turns up
If the general consensus with coins is to not handle them that much, when you've done your coin run and have some rare ones appear, do you then 'handle them with care' thereafter?
A fascinating find, not seen that before either 😊
Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻
Hello from US
Where do you get these bags from?
Not heard of that error, is it possible you have found a new type of error? 👏👏👍
Very cool error
Can you show us your error coins? Thanks
I have two two pound coins /2004 with the T missing on the shoulders of? And1998with I missing in giants.and 2004words up side down.
The letters missing is just die wear. As for the 'words upside down' - that is a complete myth, invented on ebay! It is literally 50/50 which way the edge lettering is. Exactly the same applies with the old £1 coins! Also, have you seen all the false claims about the 1971 Copper coins being extremely rare? They are virtually worth Face Value! There are other dates too.
It is not die wear as all words are capitals and as for the upside down words it is not eBay scam.
Have always wondered why anyone would make fake coins like Technologies £2 as it adds nothing to anyone or anything. Commemorative coins I get buy why the normal ones?
I have a fake 2011 £2 coin and the outer is very dark and with rotation error
An edgy find 🎉
looks to me like most of the reeding is missing....One of a kind???
i have a fried egg error williams tragedy coin idk how much its worth
You might find that some people that collect fake £2 coins, maybe pass them off as genuine, especially if they can buy them cheap enough, which is why you have faked coins for.
Hi Christopher, Do fake £2 coins weight the same as real £2 coins?
Not usually no.
