- As my trip through Xinjiang comes to an end, I went to the city of Hotan, on the southern edge of the Taklimakan desert. Despite being on the edge of a desert, Hotan is incredibly green. It's is a beautiful city and is known throughout China for its natural white jade deposits. According to the locals, if you’re lucky, it’s said that you can find a piece as big as your head in the Jade Dragon Kash River (and presumably retire). So, that’s exactly what I did!

Once I jumped put of our msm, I found the different world in China. For one thing, after 70 years of ruling under "evil" communist party, there are still urghurs around. It says everything if you have basic intelligence.

I’ve seen you use a DJI for the blogging segments, but what camera setup do you tend to use for the other angles/brill stuff? Looks super crisp and clear!
And what editing program would you recommend for quick editing of CZcams videos?
Hi Danyal. So this is all DJI and Sony ZV1, but this was our first time using the ZV1. If you watch previous (recent) videos, they're mainly shot on a Sony a7 iii, but the benefit of the ZV1 is it's tiny and is perfect for capturing vlogging b-roll.
As for editing I only ever use FCPX. Hope that helps. And thanks for the lovely comment.

We welcome everyone in the world to visit Xinjiang in person. Such travel is not difficult or expensive. Xinjiang is a beautiful and mysterious place. The Chinese government is doing its best to help Xinjiang develop. Perhaps there are still some areas that are poor and backward, but we have never given up.
