    The problem with fast food tier lists is that the quality of fast food is extremely location dependent.

    • @IvyBrooksHobkin
      @IvyBrooksHobkin Před 2 lety +479

      Most certainly, because not all places get the same ingredients from the same source. Even the quality of water is dependent. And the workers themselves, frankly every restaurant quality varies from location to location, you can go to two different Olive Gardens and have completely different experiences, same exact order, but maybe order wrong, or the garlic bread isn't good,

    • @andrews9695
      @andrews9695 Před 2 lety +49

      Right even McDonalds has a huge difference between different McDonalds and locations in terms of how warm the food is how fresh the fries are how clean the place is how fast the service is and if they get you're order right. Though I wouldn't say McDonalds is good food there is a very clear differnce between a McDonalds with employee's and managers that actually try and McDonalds that just look like the employee's have given up on life a nd just don't have any pride in what they do which is understandable when you're working in a Mcdonalds for minimum wage but there still a clear difference in just that and then added that different locations will have different food suppliers and what not.
      I remember a local restaurant where I used to live that there was a huge difference in quality and service in this sushi place when the owner was in versus when he was at his other restaurant.

    Steak n Shake is one of my favorites myself. A really fun place to eat at. I always get my food fast. I get pretty big portions for the cost comparatively to my area. It has declined in quality over the past like 10 years, but that seems to be from cost crunches. But the food to me still tastes good, I never feel sick after eating it, and I feel happy eating there.

The taste of the food is amazing, and the burgers are outstanding ( I have yet to get a burger that isn't hot). The fries are always hot (they did make it their "thing" to have always hot fries). Not everyone would do that, and due to understaffing I sometimes wasn’t able to and would just have to hope the order was correct. Also, at the store I worked at there were fountains, cooks, and carhops. Fountains are responsible for bagging, taking orders, making drinks, stocking, making ice cream, and helping the carhops if needed. Some stores don’t have fountains so the carhops do all that in addition to delivering the orders. So even if I( a fountain) got the order correct and put it in with any special directions on the ticket AND told the cooks myself, they’d mess it up 30% of the time. Fountains bag orders, so sometimes I’d catch it then, sometimes I’d be off doing one of my other tasks and someone else was bagging and wasn’t aware, sometimes it was wrapped and I didn’t catch the mistake( example: pickles on a no-pickle order). We were almost always understaffed so it was pretty chaotic 90% of the time, but we tried our best. Also, almost everyone I worked with was cranky about being there and didn’t want to work as a team( it was a stressful environment) which did not help things be efficient. Sadly I think the store I worked at was one of the more efficient ones, so I imagine it would be worse at other Sonics.

    Coming from someone that worked at mod for awhile I'd put it in S. The dough is fresh and pressed shortly before they are used for pizza. They make sure they keep all ingredients as fresh as possible. If the dough or certain toppings have been sitting there for too long we toss it and replace it with fresher ones. So in terms on quality mod has it in the park. But you can really customize your pizza to your heart's content. If you want half and half you can do that. If you want your pizza to be heavy on pepperoni or whatever they will do that for you. And the fact that they use a actual wood stove that you can see cooking the pizza is dope. And customer service is really good. We were taught to treat customers like homies. Like how some bars are we'll strike up conversation, ask how your day is, and generally show care for the customer. And my favorite about working there is that the employees are treated so good. Mod has shown so much support in me when I was going through alot of mental health issues. My manager would pull me out of work to talk outside and see what's wrong. She wanted to see how she could make work a better place for me. Like putting me on positions that allowed me to relax and not feel as stressed. They've offered mental health days if I break down while working and called me while I was at home to see if I'm ok. They generally actually cared. Also if you are working there they give you a lot of mental health resources. So if anyone wants to work at a place that will give you a great experience and support you no matter who you are, gay, trans, anything like that, mod is a great place. If you ever experienced some bad behavior from employees you work with don't be scared to bring it up to the higher ups. They will put their foot down. That's actually how my first manager got fired and how I got the manager that gave me alot of support. And theirs my review of mod.
