I agree Muskie/Northern Pikes are very difficult to catch. I was fortunate enough several years ago to make a single cast and caught myself my first one and as soon I got my first off the hook I casted out again caught another, all in all I caught 5 in one day. My husband calls it beginners luck but I call it for the love of the game. My husband and I while we were dating still one of our first dates was Fishing. And we live by the phrase "a couple who fishes together stays together". And it's true. But a couple years ago my hubs bought be a shirt that says "you had me at Let's Go Fishing" I've been novice fishing since I could hold a rod and reel in my hands. Love your videos. Your Pup is adorable. I also have a chocolate lab his name is Otto. And he is my baby before I had my babies (mom of 2 boys).
The French River is so undeniably beautiful, it never disappoints 😊

Its funny before reading where this was i assumed it was the pickerel river in port loring... only off by about 25 kms!
I got 1 minute into this and it was like watching myself through other people. This is "EXACTLY" how i like to fish and remote camp. Having a beyond loaded boat with a buddy at the front watching for obstructions. Keep up the great work. Eventually when I get my channel up and running we should do a video musky challenge together. Cheers boys!

I did a five day on the exact island that you did but I targeted walleye. It was great. It is a nice island. Had to do some cleanup because some people just don’t care about leaving garbage behind. There is a few rats on the island, but other than that everything was good.

What was that first fish you thru back? The place you’re at is absolutely gorgeous! You should get yourself a cast iron pie maker cooker for the fire. We use ours a lot. Can make so many different things in them.

Nice spot. I started back country camping this summer, and finding a nice site is hard. What lake and site is it ? ( the second site , I couldn't read the site marker)
When you leave Dokis marina just go left and there are literally tons of places but not the one they stayed at I also stayed at but I stayed at a Second one the year before and twilight bay check that one out. It’s beautiful and it’s got a little spot that you can tuck your boat in like a little slip or just when you come in to that area, stay left
