@@SaengsKitchen too much sauce must be very salty 🧂 🤣 I cooked 🍳 mine very dry oil 🛢 garlic and noodles 🍜 stir fry until soft and then add little bit sauce lightly then vegetables few minutes done used brown sugar and palm 🌴 sugar or organic brown much healthier white sugar bad 👎 especially with 🔥 fire burned 🔥 not good

Kua mee only has eggs for protein, but as with any recipe you can adjust to your preferences and add cooked proteins when you toss the noodles towards the end. Maybe your ate thinking of Thai pad thai noodle dish?
