► A damning report released today said that 45 babies that died in hospitals in Kent could have been saved if proper care was given to them.
It also found that 12 newborns suffered brain damage unnecessarily. The inquiry's chair, Dr Bill Kirkup, said that women were not listened to, and lessons were not learnt.

It is very disrespectful for anyone to say, 'lessons have been learned'. Strange how they never explain what the failures were and what changes have been implemented...and the evidence made public.
All of heaven's love and comfort to all who are in mourning.💕

Was anybody held responsible for any of the deaths. Senior managers for example.
What exactly does profoundly sorry mean?
Has full report been published so that people can see that things have changed for the better.

This is what I've been saying. Who was sacked? Who has been taken off the midwife register over this? If not then I dont want to hear an apology.

An apology? I cannot believe there is such a lack of accountability

"lessons have been learned" they say this line every time, how about "jail time will be served and people will loose jobs"

The amount of times I have went to Margate Queen Elizabeth Hospital with unanswered questions is ridiculous. I had a torn Labrum, and physiotherapy gave me 6 months of excruciating physio exercises, an MRI and about to schedule surgery (finally) for me to miss one appointment due to having covid-19 and then being discharged. I am now in the process of trying to get referred to physiotherapy again. Ridiculous hospital system.

Excuses with someone or several people being sacked is useless. The same people are still in leadership so they can save the fake apology.

lazy nurses who judge the parents, cant be bothered about a difficulty the child is going through.... these days nurses worried about holidays and money. fearing god and working in the name of religion worked out better in the last decades.....
