The documentary was too short. It needed to be at least 2 hours long to cover over fifty years in the music business, their personal taste, angst, joys and experiences in the political and cultures of those decades together. That being said i am so grateful for this post of the best male vocal group ever.

my grandmother and grandfather were Henry and Izettia Chandler Barksdale. My mother was Catherine Jannie Barksdale and said that Chuck Barksdale looked just like our younger cousin, Cedric Barksdale. They came from South Boston, Virginia! They said that Samuel Barksdale was an Assistant Principal or Principal of the Elementary School there! We loved to hear them talk about the "Barksdales'!

Funny, how they get fired because they're so good! I guess every knock is a boost! Dinah Washington almost got "clocked" by Brook Benton for calling him stupid! What an interesting character she was! ALWAYS TOGETHER & THE LOVE WE HAD are the best songs they ever recorded, everything else follows behind those two!!!
Dinah Washington influenced A LOT of singers like Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, and of course The Dells, just to name a few. Long live the QUEEN!!! :) lol

It's amazing how some of their top hits came about. Stay In My Corner was a filler song, and became a #1 hit. Just wow!!
