Hi Rudi! Thank you for posting this tutorial :D I am really eager to follow along with it but my flatten to terrace tool creates more of a gradient from the center rather than a harsh edge. Also the flatten to foundation tool lowers the pool even futher, so in the end the riverbank doesn't end up being as shallow as I would like. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Use the water-bowl from habitats and lower them ever so slightly to get the shallow pool level you want - they flatten the area around them in about a meter or two radius around them.
Do this rocks are from DLC? or i can just use them without dlc?
does this only work with the size at 20 i cannot get it to work any smaller.

Hi Rudi, I am struggling to instal the free build mod, I followed the instructions but yet I can not find the mod in the game, as if it does not exist. I read something about geforce might be the issue? Any idea?
where did you get the smaller faux rocks? i don't have them
You have they are just in the wrong order. Type faux and you'll find them
@@RudiRennkamel nope, I typed faux and also aquatic separately, I don't have the smaller ones. Are they from a separate pack from aquatic? I don't have all the packs 🤭

Rudi ich habe ein Problem 😢. Ich habe alles so eingestellt wie du unten rechts, aber das Wasser kann ich trotzdem nicht bis zum Rand füllen. Auch wenn ich Gewässer auf einer anderen art bauen möchte, muss ich immer sehr tiefe Löcher machen, damit ich überhaupt Wasser einfüllen kann. Am ende bleibt immer mindestens ein Höhenunterschied von 1 bis 2 meter zwischen Wasser und Gelände. Ich möchte auch so flache Becken haben, damit meine Tiere vernünftig ins Wasser kommen, und nicht so komisch da rein rutschen. Was kann ich noch machen??? Vielleicht in den Einstellungen irgendetwas? Ich weiß nicht mehr weiter. 😢😢😢
At 26:08 when I try to pull the terrain, it doesn't go over the rock 🤔 It create a little bump but next to the rock and there's a little gap between. I don't know if i'm explaining it right cause english is not my language !

you can change the value of how strong its digging on the right in the settings menu

For some reason i cant make regular shallow pool of water. Its always obstructed. I can create shallow water in ugly hole. Anyone have ideas whats going on?

for me the small faux rocks suddenly aren't showing up. Anyone else having this problem? They're from the aquatic pack right? And the small ones from base game?

so i spent like an hour trying to get this to work n nothing helped so i thought maybe i did something to the terrain it didnt like, started a new sandbox sure enough it works

This worked perfectly the first time I did it... but hasn't worked since. What am I doing wrong?!

@@somerandomperson7223 It works on perfectly flat terrain (I first tried it on a new sandbox map that was perfectly flat). The flatten to terrace tool goes bananas on terrain that is the tiniest bit uneven, so this doesn't always work on a map that has already been terraformed, unless you have the space to flatten out the area.
