    If you put non-slip mat at bottom of your drawers, the sleeves will stay put & the row doesn't need to be full or use spacer, also they will stay upright. You can buy by the roll at Llowes or Home Depot & cut to size needed.

    Looks great Christina. I organize my stamps and dies in those Fridge Binz too. I love them for keeping thing organized. Love the pockets for stamps and dies as well. Not sure yet if I will be able to get drawers for mine or if they will go in the closet just yet as I am revamping my craft room. So these video's are helpful. Thanks for taking us along for the organization! Hugs, Brenda

    I store both dies and stamps by theme. For the dies that have multi purposes I label them as such...like the ones you stored in front.

    I have both my stamps & dies stored mostly by theme. Exceptions are Simon Says Stamp, Hero Arts, & Lawn Fawn. With my dies, my only problem is that I have a lot (maybe 1/4 of all my dies) in a section called "Miscellaneous Shapes." Kind of a catch-all for anything that is not something like a rectangle/square, circle/oval, word/letters, etc. I did try once to subdivide that section further, but couldn't figure it out, so I gave up. At least I have all my dies & most of my stamps listed in a OneNote inventory system, with theme/company sections that correspond to my filing system. For stencils, I actually use 8x8" scrapbook albums. I have one (the original) that is postbound, that I think I have overfilled, but it works, so I'm not taking it apart again! The second one is a D-ring binder style that I got on sale at Hobby Lobby--so much easier to maintain. All but my few 12x12" stencils fit in those, & I keep those large ones elsewhere. Of course, I have to flip through the entire album to find a stencil I want, so that's not ideal. I may need to make a "table of contents" for them! (Just now thought of that.) Anyway, thank you so much for this organization series. I think organizing my craft supplies is actually its own hobby. LOL Have a wonderful day! :)

      Andrea La Vigne I have all my dies on the swinging doors of my huge craft storage unit....I glued magnetic strips to stick the dies on. I can see them all at a glance! I really like the binder idea for stencils....saw a video on that somewhere....she used tabbed dividers to organize them by theme....

    May I ask you for information about your cabinet drawers. We just moved into a new house and of course I have to start from scratch. I wanted to do cabinet drawers as well and in a white or light gray. Thank you!

    Thank you for sharing your great storage ideas. It was wondergul to see you make the changes to make your systems work for YOU.
    I do have one question I hope you can help me with. At the end of the video you showed a stamp set you use for swatching. Could you please (begging, down on my knees 😌😗)tell me the maker and/or name of this set. I have been looking for something like this for a while. TIA

    • @kkrolf2782
      @kkrolf2782 Před 3 lety

      I’m not Christina, but I’ll tell that I use a Yin-Yang symbol (about 1 ⅛” dia.) to swatch my inks. In doing so, both a solid field and a fine line are demonstrated. I also use a hole punch in the solid field, where the “dot” occurs, so I can have a view hole for comparing possible companion inks. Hope this is food for thought; something to spark your creativity.

      Hi Judy. I liked the ones I like best in the description. I use them for storing my card stock, but also can cut them down for the TH stamp sets.

    I have a question. I have the problem of knowing where to look for a stamp to use in a specific card I have pictured in my mind. For instance, I need a phrase "thinking of you" to fit in a 2 inch x 3 inch spot. How would you find such a stamp in your current organizational system???

    • @CreationswithChristina
      @CreationswithChristina  Před 4 lety

      That is a really good question.I usually just flip through my collection. Moving my holiday themed and the ones I use for Project life to a separate location made it easier to go through them. Keeping my collection somewhat small helps too.

    • @cindyhenry1410
      @cindyhenry1410 Před 4 lety

      bhandy1000 good question! I saw a video (I believe it was Treasure Books) where she actually separated out stamps and organized them by theme....like one set had sentiments mixed with flowers and another had sentiments and like balloons or whatever and she took all the sentiments and put them together, then put all the flowers together, etc. It was pretty awesome but wow what a daunting task! Plus there are those who do not like to separate stamp sets or companies. I’m at a loss for what to do.....

    • @kkrolf2782
      @kkrolf2782 Před 3 lety +1

      Cindy Henry Like the person at Treasure Books, I’m inclined to divide & conquer. I truly find it a quandary HOW anyone can find THE stamp they’d be inclined to use when the stamp “collections” are such a hodgepodge. “It’s me, JD”, another Y.T’r, uses Evernote (check out her video) to document her stash, but, as you mentioned, it’d be quite an undertaking to sort, separate, & then document even a small stash. I DO have to find a solution, however, otherwise I’m afraid this hobby will have to go by the wayside!
