There's a bit of a misconception that 'med student' is a catchall for all prospective workers of the medical field (Doctors, Nurses, and in this case Pharmacy) but generally speaking it usually only refers to student doctors, and specifically an MD, aka 'Doctor of Medicine.' (though correct me if I'm wrong, I believe it would still be applicable to DO's since they do the same training)
At least in the US, pharmaceutical licensure is different from DEA/ADDS Licensure, the latter of which is AFAIK the specific licenses Doctors need to legally prescribe medicine to their patients, and not specifically a pharmaceutical license, which I believe has more to do with the manufacturing, handling, and sales within said pharmacies. I would assume there's a DEA equivalent for Australia and the process is similar - so I'd believe Bae when she says she's not a med student. It's more likely that she was a pharmacy technician prior to her tenure as a chaos rat god, because even at that level you're as intimately aware of all the common drugs as much as the more controlled substances.
    HOWEVER
That Bae claims she can give medical advice with regards to medication implies she might've actually been a Pharmacist, because legally speaking you're not allowed to do that as a tech aside from repeating the instructions from said Pharmacists verbatim - unless that's actually what she meant, or the laws/licensure are different in the land Down Under.
If other pharm/doctor fans and those from Australia want to clarify and correct me, please do!

Not Australian but an Indonesian, here, the one has the authority to give medicine advice is only certified Pharmacist; 4-5 years in university, 1 year in profession-supplementary course, and additional test for the license and certificate. Paracetamol is pretty ubiquitous in the UK, I can't imagine not having a stock of it around.
Ibuprofen too, another one I can't imagine not keeping a stock of.
Amoxicillin is a prescription antibiotic, only had cause to take it once.
Fun thing about paracetamol and ibuprofen is while they conflict with many other drugs, they don't conflict with one another so can be taken together. Very useful thing with painkillers, because if one doesn't provide enough relief, you can immediately safely take the other too.
From what I know of America they tend to call things by brand names, presumably a product of a hyper-commercialised pharmaceutical industry.

I (re-)researched this recently, and it appears that chronic or excessive consumption of paracetamol can be linked to undesirable liver-related and kidney-related outcomes. Ibuprofen (similar to aspirin) meanwhile is associated particularly with damage to the stomach lining. It has previously been said that the latter effect could be mitigated by taking ibuprofen with a meal, but doing so only seems to delay the effect, causing it to impact the lining of the small intestine instead. In particular, consuming ibuprofen with fat appears to increase damage, instead of reducing it (Rainsford & Bjarnason 2011).

Yeah, it's important to follow dosing recommendations. All are safe when you don't take too much, which is why they're sold without a prescription. (It is also important not to take them chronically, both because if you have that much pain, you have underlying issues that need to be addressed for their own sake, and also because long-term use can cause bioaccumulation in the body that can lead to toxicity, as well.)

Bae was referring to the Unites States of America, which in the English langauge is what the word "America" actually refers to. There are two continents, North and South America, which rest on two completely separate tectonic plates and are only touching loosely along a small area of plate boundary at the moment. They are not intrinsically connected and are not one continent -- never have been and never will be. In fact, in the far distant future, millions of years from now, the two continents will drift apart in different directions and become entirely separate, with open ocean in between them. This is not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of geology.
Now...in the Spanish language, "América" is actually a completely different word, with a different meaning. It's a cognate, drawn from a common source, but as is common with languages, that doesn't make it the same word or give it the same meaning. In Spanish, there is an (incorrect) folk belief that North and South America are one continent, which is collectively referred to as "América". However, since Bae was speaking English, and is an Australian with presumably no Spanish language ability, it's pretty clear from context what she intended. To Bae, as to most Australians and native English-speakers the world over, America is one, specific country that rests on one of the two continents that comprise "the Americas", as they are collectively known.
To wit: she was using the word "America", not the word "América". América is a word that espouses a concept that doesn't exist in her cultural orientation (and she's under no obligation to revise her cultural orientation to suit anyone else's taste). Latinos living in the United States understand this dichotomy very well: they use the word America in the Anglo sense when speaking English and they use the word América in the Latino sense when speaking Spanish. Neither trumps the other; they are simply separate words in separate languages that coexist side-by-side (kind of like North America and South America, haha).

Sounds like the standard "Support the supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines" course for Pharmacy Assistants who are working the OTC sections (Schedule 2 and 3). This is distinct from an actual registered pharmacist who can dispense Schedule 4 prescription medicines.

Bae said in an episode of ChadCast that her roommate was in med school and she often helped her study, so that may be where she gets her info from.

In Thailand, ibuprofen is basically unheard of, but paracetamol is like the default medicine name everybody knows regardless of brand name. The most common brands are probably Tylenol and Sara here, and you can get a pack of 12 for like ~US$0.30 at convenience stores, mom and pop shops, or even school canteens without any prior prescriptions. We literally have the 3rd most 7-Elevens in the world after Japan and the US, so you can imagine how easy and widespread paracetamol is here.
