Besides clips, the original stream will end up being deleted after 2 weeks (and she doesn't archive them anywhere despite Twitch being the platform she uses the most 😭). At least she's actually starting to stream more often on CZcams again. Hopefully the suggestion I sent to Cover to find a solution to preserve the VODs gets approved and we're able to enjoy her content again without fearing a time limit. Absolutely everyone would benefit, including Laplus herself. 🙏

As for why it's sorta common, probably because A) family is important and shares everything including baths and B) most of the population in Japan lives on top of eachother.

I don't consume twitch, so is nice to see what is La+ up to from time to time, I used to watched her a lot in 2021 to 2022. After she moved to twitch I barely see stuff from her, other than what is published in the Hololive channel, other members collabs, and the occasional clips/shorts she uploads on YT.
I miss La+.
And the worst part is that she doesn't archive her VoDs anywhere so even if you watch her on Twitch, everything she does there will be lost anyway unless a third party reuploads them elsewhere (which is a risky move). At least she's starting to stream on CZcams a bit more often again even though Twitch is the platform she prefers to use most of the time.
Like I said, I wouldn't mind the change as long as her content was actually watchable after the time limit and I'm okay with her streaming wherever as long as she's happy. I've also sent an inquiry to Cover (which I should have a long time ago) so someone makes sure Laplus remembers to convert the streams into highlights to save them, a feature she was unaware of until earlier this year and there's a lot of Twitch settings she doesn't know about in general.
Also, forgive me as I don't like to spam but I do make Laplus clips on my channel. Feel free to check them out if you're interested. I haven't been active recently because translating is very challenging and time-consuming for me but I have several new clips in production. I really wanted to support my oshi because almost nobody clips her anymore and I hope my efforts allow more people to enjoy her content as much as I did back when I joined this fandom last year.
