    Linda means beautiful in Spanish, and she is a beautiful lady. It is so nice to see a family that imbraces the traditional ways of the Dinè. Nihzoni.

    Yaaeetah abini! What a breath taking view! Very interesting - I live in the city and my dream one day is to go home to Dinetah - breath the fresh air and grow organic food again. I grew up on a farm, doing ranch work, herding sheep, going out early the morning - saying our prayers. Beautiful, thoughtful & a reminder of who were are as Dine people as they all said! It's a message from the Holy People!

      What made you leave the motherland? I agree, it makes me rethink my career path and embrace the old ways and remove the hustle and bustle of modern life.
      It feels healthier for the soul. 🤙🏾

    hi Raeanna from okc ,we urban natives adapt and aclimate well to city life meaning change is always occuring in our daily and annual life here in the citys. Believe it or not there are those of us here in oklahoma city that keep traditional values alive regardless of change , our culture and native ways remain intact in our every day way of life and most importantly our hearts our minds body and spirit .Aho

    Wow I think I’ll like this episode, the family is lucky to have each others. Agh I wish the year of Covid was not stressful for me but it was and depressing. But had to keep myself going for my 2 kids while my spouse was away working.

      @Spagoshi  Před 4 měsíci +3

      Understood, it was a tough time for many people in our country. Were you in an urban area during that time? Glad you are all well and going now.

      @RSVD84 Před 3 měsíci +1

      No my spouse was military at the time. I’ve mentioned this to you before and you wanted to interview us but I said no. It was mainly hard for me as the spouse at home with kids because we cut out people visiting and was very traumatizing. Thankfully I had a niece who worried about me that time and stayed isolated for 2 weeks to make sure they were good. It was to the point my whole fam well like my parent and everyone who lived with them stayed isolate just to make sure my niece could stay with me. It is like a PTSD money for me.

      @@RSVD84 Oh I remember your story now, I apologize for that. I've been in contact with many relatives over the year. Yes, isolation was pretty hard on a lot of families. My parents did something similar, before visiting us during the summer of 2020. I hope all is well and ahe' hee for sharing your personal story. Take care
