Cool bike! I have also minibike with qs90 motor. It is great little motor for its size. I feed it 10kW with no problems

@@pajajaska Thanks for replying. Wow. I wouldn't have expected it to handle 140 dc amps! I got a sabvoton 72100 I'm going to use. I can get close to 10kw out of it but only on a full charge. Seeing your video has spurred me on to get it done. Ride safe pal.

Love that BTR battery on the 2nd bike! so many people talk trash about them but for the money you cant get a better high amp battery. as long as you understand what it can handle w/ stock bms, put a bt bms and you will have a battery that can push 300amps!

It'd take a bit of work to fabricate a driven sprocket to fit a 420 chain versus stock, but I can see this kit fitted into a Cruzin' Cooler! Nothing like having a cooler you can ride that'll carry a full case of beer/soda and can do +50-mph...!😁

Put a clamp meter on the electric bikes for us and let us know how many amps you draw. great setup! Throw a QS205 or similar hub setup on one. Nice to not have to mess with motor mounts and chains. They have a 4kw 205 now rated to like 15kw peak. I hear they are insane. The Molcel E&C bats are good, but $2500 for a battery and charger is painful! Get some 120c rated lipos on there for 1/3 the price. won't have the range, but will def have the amps.

The lQS90 has quite a bit more power than the 3000W set up.

I think it would depend on the size or tire height.
I also have a gas powered mini bike that I wanna convert to electric. Mine doesn't have suspension either as it's a tiny pocket bike like yours. I'm gonna base my build off of yours.

What was the gearing and tire diameter on this?
It has a 2.07 ratio. 14 tooth on the motor and 29 on the rear with a 110/50-6.5 tire. Have you seen the first race video? czcams.com/video/miqIHHXmGTg/video.html
@@Black66 I have, pretty awesome! Thks! I work with a guy that sells alot of QS motors. He was stating that motor really liked around 4:1. I was surprised yours performed as well as it did at 2:1! Overvolting them is a fun test too once you get your lipo stuff. Field weakening also lets you get alot more rpm out of them. Good luck!
