My first ever game was 1980 but this is the first season I can remember. Think it was a quid for me Fatha and 50 pence for me in the Gallowgate. The silver away strips, the coop tracksuits for the ballboys, the scoreboard and corner chants hehe. Keegan, Beardsley and Waddle together - amazing. Good times man.
I am a Man Utd loyal fan but Kevin Keegan was always be my idol. Played for Liverpool, Hamburg and Newcastle and twice crowned European Footballer of the year award. Such a legend
Wow, this gave me goosebumps watching this. I was 13 year old and my Dad took me to a few games in this season and honestly it was exhilarating. This was also the year of KK’s Blue star soccer days where i won a competition to spend a day at the training ground and met all the players etc. Turns out a certain Alan Shearer was there on the same day as me ! Good times ❤
KK top bloke & great for the Toon when he was here. Me dad had two season tickets at the Toon in the mid 90s when he was manager. Great times & we are now back there with Eddie. 👍

A glorious season. Went to most home games and a few away. Goals galore and great attacking football.
