@OfficialCeltics oh damn, how could i forget. him and rondo are my favorite players.
Celtics Forever love from amsterdam
Look at Tom Brady cheering on the Celts!
been dreamin forever
Rondo He is Men in Black, n Matrix for Boston.
We won, that alley opp was at the end of the 3rd quarter!
I feel bad for his eye
@TinCan916 there are many more guys with mouthguards..gerald wallace, josh smith, shaq used to wear it, dirk nowitzki, turkoglu, steph curry......
Been awake forever.
go look it up!
he was a qb in highschool
Oh and btw I cannot find the article you were referring to. The only articles I found didn't really quote anything concrete just quoting the Laker's GM talking about getting a 25 yr. old All-star PG, and no specifics were actually said so we don't actually know if it was just Rondo for Gasol another player could have easily been included.
rondos speed, arm length and those huge hands would have, in my opinion, made him a pretty good receiver
This game was a whole year ago lol
I think we lost this game on a Bynum alley-oop. I remember it was a buzzer beater.
Great point guard!
Lol I remember shaw used to claim he had a special mouthguard that helped him do amazing things haha
Yes, that is true, there could have been another player in the deal...
Nah, we lost this game, but i had it wrong it wasn't a buzzer beater. I just remember at the end when Bynum got a little alley-oop pass to put them up.
hes an animal.
Dood Ainge is always putting players on the trading block but he never trades them. Just because there was a trade discussion in place doesn't necessarily mean that they were actually willing to give up a player. This is supported even more with Ainge saying time and time again that Rondo is not going anywhere.
Y Rondo doing kobe like that :)
@TrafalgarIaw It was the Celtics who made the offer.
Stunna shades BOI....
11:04 *the whistle blows* SHIT!!- Ray Allen
what happend to his eye
@ElPbaby69 Agreed, I like Rondo but the trade for Gasol would have put the Celtics in the race for a title this year so that KG, Pierce and Allen would still be in contention for another title (as Celtics anyway) before they retire. As it stands now, Boston will make the playoffs but that's about it and the big 3 aren't getting any younger. As each year passes they get less effective and with injuries, and who knows about next year? Ainge was right to try to go for the big trade this year.
A lot do. There is a lot of bumping, elbows.
Red eye rondo vs. The masked mamba.sounds like a video game
Thats not cockiness or arrogance thats the truth.
I think Rondo is the toughest player in the NBA... Plays through injuries
yeap, there are lots of em who wears it, its hard to tell especially these are big guys, mouth guard is like a gum to them lol
I love how Ray didn't cut to the basket but went back to the 3pt line at 10:57
Omg these highlights are moving at a snail's pace. Too much relay
Neither, its not exaggerated.
Rondo: Who's B. Kobe?
I believe that his shooting struggles have a lot to do with his low confidence. Its hard to shoot when the defense just gives you the shot cause it puts more pressure on you to make it cause you're wide open. But if u consistently watch celtic games, Ull notice that Rondo makes a lot more shots when he HAS to shoot it, like when it's a buzzer/shot clock timer beater. If he can get past that mental bump, he'll be a lot better. Not saying he's gonna be a sharpshooter, but he'll be solid
Rondo is a terrific guard with a fatal flaw in his jump shot although it was MUCH better in the playoffs. The C's beat the Heat, but were robbed of game 2. Even so, the C's were badly out-rebounded by every team they played. I never said Gasol was a long term solution, but he could have helped the C's win this year with Bradley replacing Rondo. As Ainge, the Bleacher report says he made the offer and it was the Lakers who rejected it so apparently they disagree with your assessment of Gasol.
Your missing my point. I never said Rondo was bad or that the Celtics could not with with him. (1) I just thought that they would have a better chance with Gasol and (2) that the trade was definitely on the table and it was the Lakers who passed on Rondo not the Celtics who passed on Gasol. That's all.
Did rondo sign a long term contract with the celtics?
Search on: Lakers Rumors: Unwillingness to Deal Pau Gasol for Rajon Rondo Is Laughable The article states the following: "According to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, the Lakers are unwilling to include Gasol in a deal for Rondo, so there is little to no chance of Rondo ending up in Los Angeles. While dealing Gasol would weaken the frontcourt, Andrew Bynum is still in place, and point guard is a huge need."
then you woke up
@MrFreeLibertarian
First of all Celtics would never accept that offer. Their best player who is entering his prime for a PF who is almost past his prime.
most people do than dont boi
rondo shoulve gotten mvp anyways he lays hurt most of his games... like when he injured his left arm, he still played.
Now that's just not true.
Dude, Celtics vs Lakers 3/11/12. We won. Cause we sweep the season series against them that year! This is the game that they needed a 3 to tie, and they had like 3 chances and didnt hit it! Learn your stuff man!
yes ... you ever watch the association?.. he said himself that he was the best pg in the league...ARROGANCE!!!
chris bosh?
who won?
tape
Okay, I see why we've been disagreeing, I'm a Celtics fan & I was talking about how WE lost. You're a Lakers fan & thought I was talking about them. Lmao just a case of confusion.
@ElPbaby69 Well you're just not thinking. It depends on what each team needs right now. Apparently you think, and I emphasize "think", that you know what you're talking about. But you don't. Apparently you think you know more than both the Celtics' and Lakers' staff because, according to you, the Lakers should have jumped at the chance to dump Gasol for Rondo, but they didn't did they? + the Celtics should never have offered the trade, but they did. lol Your opinions aren't worth much.
4:29 That air ball free throw though haha
yeah and lebick would've got a flangrant foul for KG
and Blake Griffin the monster
@ElPbaby69 Do dome research. It's well established now that a trade discussion did take place and that the Lakers wanted Rondo but were unwilling to give up Gasol and the Celtics wanted Gasol and were willing to give up Rondo to get him. The actions of both teams refute your opinion about the wisdom of this proposed trade. You might not like it, but you need to accept these facts and just let it go and stop digging.
Damn Kobe's acting like Rondo's Dwight howard, Rondo knows how to shoot a three he isn't the best at it but he still can drain it, so Bad on Kobes Defense.
@TinCan916 blake griffin
what is the thing is hava on his finger at 00:42 02:03 ?? sorry my english
What is he saying?
Kobe ?
Imao, so Kobe flopped at 10:42 and wanted a foul from the ref
Lol, i hate hen they say Ray-jon rondo
lol 0:45 the guy in the background
Cockiness, not arrogance.
@ElPbaby69 Search "celtics trade rondo for pau gasol" and see the Bleacherreport article that quotes a the LA Times. Is this 100% proof? Of course not, teams aren't stupid enough to confirm deals that don't go through because they have to face the players and convince them they weren't being shopped, but it's the best we're going to get. As for Pau, apparently the Lakers think he's good enough not to be an even swap for Rondo even though they need a guard bad, so what does that tell you?
00:42 LOL
blake griffin?
Joey Crawford needs to retire. Seriously, folks.
rondo always looks sexy, hottest player in NBA
kinda not strong enough to play football lol but if he were a bigger guy yeah I agree
Durant
blake griffin
rondo lesgott
Gasol sucks overall. the money the lakers are giving him is too much and the celtic team would go down if rondo is gone. lakers think they can get all the high tier elite players by trading pau gasol. hes overated now but used to be underated but now he sucks. trading gasol to the celtics will make them older and weaker. rondo to the lakers will make them better. danny ainge wouldnt be a fool to do that.
who cares that you dont care.
who cares?
having or showing an exaggerated opinion of one's own importance, merit, ability, etc; conceited; overbearingly proud..HE IS ARROGANT...and cocky
lol.hes so arrogant it makes me sick
Don't need to, I remember watching it. You go look it up!! Here, I'll help you..... watch?v=bC7fwGmePvw
