Concept is extremely awesome, why has no one made something like this to buy or rent to make it easier for a one man job or someone not able to use manual post hole diggers or a gas auger anymore, something to stabilize the unit so it is safe for the worker and easier.

I think the issue with this drill is that it was designed to be used on soft, or sandy soil. Anthing rocky or gummy like clay would bog it down or destroy the gearbox. If I were a manufacturer I would pass, unless it could be beefed up, repowered with a standard ele ctric motor or a gasoline one, and.........Oh Harbor Freight has already done that...sorry.

Maybe the type of guys who come up with this sort of thing are very bad at business, to the point where they bury the invention rather than see anyone make money bringing it to market. They themselves are incompetent to do so - and they end up failures. Maybe this thing is way too obvious and can't be patented?
The demo video itself sank it. You can see it struggling to dig those hole, jerking and jumping... and leaving out the sound instead of just editing it to a lower level is telling, wonder how hard that makita was whining during the demonstration holes...

We don't get to see the rack it climbs up and down on, we don't get to hear the drill groaning or to smell the windings on it turning into smoke either.

That last clip sums it up, an earth auger for the guy that uses a cardboard box to protect his bedliner.
Or maybe he is being smart and not having to sweep out any dirt that falls of the auger. Humm.....
