I was there when EA was forced to dropped all production for MOH because it supposedly exposed all the gear an techs, tactics and weapons the special forces used the game was great the game play was amazing fun and challenging but the government quickly had it shut down in the first 2 months of its release no dlc's or update ever came out for the game

As a combat vet, MOH 2010 was the first shooter I could stomach playing. COD and all the others were/are so cheesy. MOH Warfighter was the natural progression and I sank hundreds of hours into multiplayer. I made life long friends playing this game. It’s a shame EA abandoned the game when it was released. EA’s is the place where franchise games go to die.

The seals that assisted with the story were also taken to court. Again, unsure how true it is but they did discontinue production of warfighter after it made t news

If only this game came out today. It was one of my favorite games but most people wanted arcade shooters at the time. If this game came out now, as realistic and forward thinking as it was it would have been widely accepted and would be one of the best franchises out there.
I somehow have the strong feeling to disagree with you. This is arcade and not realistic. Perhpas the mission scenarios are reality based. This is just the gaming equivalent of an action movie.
That way they stack at the 6:35 mark and the breaching and clearing...the body movements etc is amazing! Games these days don't even have them stacking like that. You can definitely tell they had DEVGRU consultants!

I still have this game on a jailbroken PS3 and play through it from time to time. It was ahead of it’s time for sure. Still puts a smile on my face every time I play. Insurgency Sandstorm was recently ported to console and while it too is really fun, it would be really awesome if they made a real thought out campaign with a co-op option. The mechanics and everything in that game would be almost perfect for it imo.
This was a fantastic game, it's hard to believe that it's 10 years old now. My brother and I bought it new in 2012 and spent so many hours in it. It's sad that they nuked the servers and support so close to the release of the game. This needs to be used as an example for how future games need to play.

Medal of Honor (2010) was the last FPS military shooter story mode I enjoyed along with Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising. Definitely an experience. All others were basically blockbuster movie equivalent ie popcorn.

Being in that country for 9/10 months go lt to see some good and bad things and a video game of that region would do well.

An amazing game, way ahead of it's time, it's very rare nowadays that a video game feels like a movie (storyline-wise).
