    It's been about 7 months since I was introduced to African music. It has changed my whole aspect of living. The songs and videos reach deep down, and while some of the lyrics I don't understand, I feel it. I first heard "Jerusalema" by Master KG and Nomcebo, while searching for black story books with my grand niece. It changed my life. I share everything I learn that is GREAT. When I heard BUGA, I instantly felt love. The video is truly beautiful. But WAIT UNTIL Y'ALL HEAR AND SEE "COUGH"! Another one of my favs. Mr. Daniel, Thank you for this interview it really brings out the real meaning of humbleness. MOTHERLAND, Africa, I will see you in 2023, God's willing!

    This was in the late 1960s or early 1970s.

    Kizz Daniel is a big bang and a wow anything and anywhere.
    I am in my late 60s and there is something about his songs that makes me feel young and extremely good.
    The cap came on my head when he used my school kids Children's Day celebration Buga song and dance for his Children's Day celebration, greetings, video, in Lagos, Nigeria. We were ecstatic with joy.
    I am really proud of him and love him. I could spend endless hours listening to his songs, especially Buga.💪💪.

    I love the way he answered the question about who his equivalent in the US music industry is. He's Kizz Daniel, that's all there is to it. I wish y'all will stop these pointless comparisons of African artist and Western artists. It stems from a place of belittling their (African artists') artistry. Tiwa Savage is not Nigeria's Rihanna.       My observations:
      1. Kizz is super intelligent.
      2. He was a book worm in school. 4.3 GPA?!😮
      3. He bigged up all other Nigerians that came up in the course of the conversation: Tecno, Tiwa , Cuppy, WizKid.
      4. He's a better conversationalist than I thought, given that he comes across as an introvert.
      5. Kizz knows his craft, Wella.
