if _Bartkira_ ever gets adapted, we found ourselves an animation director
Whoa you’ve really captured the Simpson aesthetic 😮 it’s so accurate. Can’t wait to play with the assets!
Both in rendering and the actual cut of the video with the zoom transition and analog tv or subtitle
Sunrising in first second is like from Teletubbies!)
This is my favorite type of youtube content. Simple, not over edited, calm, without music. Content like this is genuinely comforting and educational.
Edit: This is the most confusingly positive and negative replies on a comment I have ever seen, I just wanted to say that I enjoyed how the video was executed and the calming educational nature of it. calm down yall.
100% agree, quality content here
Thanks a lot! I'm often torn between whether or not to include background music and have received mixed feedback regarding my voice haha... but have found in my own experience re-watching specific parts of yt tutorials over and over that music can become annoying pretty quick - so I try to only use for the more cinematic parts of the video where the effect is intentional, appreciate your feedback :)
@@veryveig No problem, Keep it up! Also don't feel like my feedback are rules to abide by, make whatever you want to make in whatever way or fashion!
You have bad ears he is playing music
@@veryveig hey what’s the deal with your triple 6 logo on every video? Are you in the occult? Most people think that the hand gesture means “ everything is ok or good” but it really means 666. Oh wait my bad! That’s the logo for blender! My apologies
i feel like i could watch hours of you making simpsons style scenes
100% agree this video didn’t even seem like 20 minutes
yes, we need a not fast forwarded video in full length :)
This is so brilliant. I really appreciate even more than ever the capabilities of Blender and the artistry of the Simpsons. Thank you!
Same! It's incredible the endless possibilities of Blender
Blender is nuts!
thanks for letting me relive some memories.
This video stands out from other CZcams tutorials because it not only covers basic object modeling and applying toon shading but also dives into artistic adjustments through compositing and techniques for recreating nostalgia. It's incredibly helpful and much appreciated! Thanks!
I feel like I'm massively late to the game but I only found out Blender could be used for 2d style animation last night and I've already fallen down the rabbit hole. I'm blown away with how accurate to the show this looks and it was a really interesting and informative video. I haven't felt inspired to do anything creative for so long because my mental health isn't in the best place but this video has definitely made me want to push myself to try, so thank you!
Take your time, don't rush it, I send you a big hug
I’m in the exact same boat as a write this comment. Gonna work some something creative tomorrow
@@MrCasualGamer27 good luck!
pure positive, many things here i've wanted to learn
"Instagram.exe" lol
I LOVE how you mix the Unix style windows with the Win 3.1.
Attention to detail = A+
I don't normally comment a second time on a video but I've come back and watched this nearly every day since it's been out. This has got to be one of the greatest Blender tutorials out there and it's so satisfying to create these Simpson Scenes.
really cool and satisfying actually for some reason
I love this, this is a brilliant way to show how blender can be used, so many videos feel like they have stringent rules on geometry and polys, yet this gives a great result and is so artistically good without feeling over complicated
The sheer amount of effort and care put into this video and project is awe inspiring, good work to say the least, really pushing the envelope in what is capable in Blender.
this gonna blow up. I'm calling it rn
Can we just appreciate the work that went into the video editing on top of all the 3D work. Respect.
This cinematic and 3D but drawn aspect of animation is one of the reasons why I love 80's japanese anime. For example, Kimagure Orange Road has such amazing scenes sometimes, just watching the OP's shows that off nicely.
The VHS FX really hit me with nostalgia
The VHS look is amazing. All I kept hearing is, "It's pretty simple to do." I kept thinking, "yeah, right!" =) I have to say that I really didn't appreciate just how much goes into the Simpsons artwork. It's too easy to take it for granted. I will watch these shows in a whole new light now. (no pun intended!)
Great work. I love when the Simpsons gets more creative with their lighting like in the Halloween episodes. You've nailed the look.
Respect... I tip my imaginary hat.
3D modeling was a lecture during my studies, but I just couldn't really get myself to really dive into it. I failed at wrapping a texture onto a simple ball, can you imagine. And then, there are people like you who recreate a whole Simpsons universe. Absolutely mind blowing. Thanks for sharing and explaining things so well!
Honestly mate that was beautiful.
The way you used blender to adeptly to create such a vibe that triggered so much nostalgia.
Great work.
I like this even more than all the ultra realistic unreal engine 5 content. This style should end up in a game! I love it
Beautiful content! Impressive amount of work, entertaining context, calm voice, great pace, full of solid tips. Thank you. This video ought to be one of the greats.
This needs to be an indie game!!!!!!!!
I have no idea how I ended watching a video of animations but damn this was nice
Looks better than the actual movie
I've only watched the first few minutes of this video, but I really appreciate your hook and the way you tell stories through this visual format. one of the few times the yt alg got something right
This is amazing, please do a part 2 where you dive into animating the characters/scene
I learnt more from this one video than all the previous blender videos I’ve watched. The aesthetic, pacing and order is all perfect. Awesome work. Thanks.
There's this feeling of accomplishment one gets after recreating a 2D environment in Blender that I just like a lot. I loved this.
Ralph without nosebleeds, hands free on the keyboard blending is unpossible
I find this even more captivating than all the astonishingly realistic Unreal Engine 5 content. This style deserves to be incorporated into a game! I'm absolutely enamored with it.
Unfortunately it's harder to do this in games than it is in Blender, because most public game engines aren't really designed with a 2D style in mind. I tried making 2D style in Unreal about a year ago to get my 2D Blender scene into Unreal, and I found it was just impossible to make it look as good. Had to use a lot of tricks and fakery to make it look even half way decent and eventually managed to get a 3 color flat shader and some post processing to do half way decent line art to work, but it just didn't have enough control to make the stylized look consistently look good. Would probably be possible to make something better if I could code and modify the engine, but that's beyond me. Maybe it would be easier with something like Unity or Godot, but doing this with Unreal proved impossible for me. There is just very little you can do to control lineart and flat shadows in a game engine that's designed for realism since a fully cartoon look often takes liberties with light and shadows and where to put lines that requires the game engine to do the opposite of what it was designed to do, it's very frustrating. Maybe someone will eventually make a game engine specifically for a flat cartoon style and release it to the public, that would be cool.
Dude... Awesome!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
this is the best use of blender i have ever seen
This is the best blender tutorial I have watched in a while. thank you for creating it :)
You absolutely nailed the style, these scenes look really nice, hit me right in the nostalgia feels 🔥
You’re a godsend 😇 this is just what I was looking for
bro this is so amazing ive always wondered how people achieve these sort of styles in blender, thank you from the bottom of my heart !
WOW !! Amazing work & great explanations of some very cool ideas & effects !!
WOW, this is mind bogglingly good!!!
I watch a lot of Blender tutorials, but, this is truly next level stuff.
Thank you so much for showing the workflow - it's so inspiring to see how you did this!
Will follow you in IG. Thanks again.
Intro look like a chillwave/retrowave mix. This is so relaxing...
I love the deep dive into their artistic homages to classic movies and paintings.
Damn these are some cool vibes. The 3D render at the end and the presentation
bro the effort you put into this video is insane
Great work
this was insane. your workflow with blender is impressive and interesting to watch with how much knowledge you posses to put together such interesting content. I love this video. Keep up the awesome work.
Just amazing. I enjoyed the content and also learned a lot about blender. You're a great artist and teacher.
This was so entertaining to watch. You really captured the Simpsons aesthetic in 3D with the line work.
I like that you explain the process and the steps clearly, helps getting better at modelling in blender instead of just showing how to make these Simpsons type of objects. Great video!
Love this so much. One very small suggestion would be to color-pick the dark value for things such as silhouettes instead of using straight black because it will give the kind of warm tone that the Simpsons animation has.
your content always brings may new things, keep em and thank you
Well done, you managed to not only capture the feel of the Simpson's world but actually improved it. Folks like you that have this sort of talent will always impress me. Cheers.
This is mindblowing dude. Awesome video!
your videos are so perfect, you take one topic and explain it so perfectly that even if it is not, it looks so simple and clear, everything makes senes, i wish i could explain the things i like or want like this
Thanks a lot! That is really what I strive for with this channel so I appreciate your feedback and kind words :)
That gave me an insane feeling of nostalgia. Outstanding content, keep up the amazing work!
Dude this is a really nice video, your editing and pacing are all perfect (this is the first video of yours I've seen).
I'm always overthinking my audio, and trying to talk faster to match the speed of other people...
I feel like I talk slower than average, but then when I hear you talking in a normal speed, it does make the video nicer.
I don't even really know the purpose of this comment, more just to say great job!
(you convinced me to keep watching, even though I have never/prob won't ever use Blender, it was just cool to watch, you're definitely good at it!)
You are a true artist. Thanks
great work🎉
I love this!
Thanks for uploading.
This is incredible
This is a really well thought out tutorial video with loads of useful info - thankyou so much you clever Simpsons loving human!
As a classic Simpsons and Blender fan I love this. Thank you for sharing!
This is awesome. Crazy, I saw you post this in a blender subreddit, and now it's in my recommended on YT by complete chance. Thanks for this video too. Wow. I oddly got into 3D mostly because of the game simpsons hit and run as a kid. I don't know why but the aesthetic is so nice in 3D. This video helps! I wanna try this!
After years of trying and giving up you were able to get me through my first 3D model it took a few hours of trial and error and googling a few basic questions but I was finally able to complete one all the way through and I couldn’t be happier with the result thank you :)
Such a nice class, thanks
Absolutely fantastic work, mate.
some of those initial rough coloured in scenes would be perfect for a simpsons horror liminal space game
Damn man, usually i can't stand long ass tuturiols but your voice is calming as shit and understanding
Amazing stuff! Love the vibe and excellent result, just heartwarming vfx! ^^
This is amazing. Captivated the entire time despite having very limited competence with blender myself.
making you remember a old comment
Incredible, I'll be trying this out for sure!
This is brilliant! Never tried anything in Blender but you've inspired me to have a go! Thanks for putting this together and would love to see you do walkthroughs for a few more Simpsons scenes/objects
Wow what beautiful and accurately portrayed recreations! Learned a lot, subbed.
Beautiful! Nice work bro. Very inspiring.
You did an amazing job. Definitely looking forward to part 2!
I respect the ungodly amount of effort that clearly went into this video.
this is incredible! many thanks for sharing your techniques!
I like how you're trying to teach us but actually it is your talent that makes you do it so well!
Holy moly! Awesome work!
Thank you for sharing!
This is so satisfying to watch and fun to try
This is a lovely tutorial and have picked up lots of tips and ideas. Thank you. You have a very calm voice which makes the tutorial easy and pleasant to listen to.
This is so satisfying to watch. I'm blown away. It's incredible.
Love how you layed out the video and your attention to detail!
Ah, this finally explains how the line art modifier works! I love seeing it in practice and with plenty of examples, this is excellent!
Maannn.. 😮 Amazing dude, thanks for sharing this with us.
(vhs fx) 👌
That's pretty insane. You did a excellent job
First time watching your content. Really love the calming tone you have on the video. I’ve definitely subscribed.
I really enjoy Snake doing Tai Chi 21:03
Lovely end result and so much useful knowledge in this video, thank you!
Absolutely amazing work. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent video
This is just so awesome you just dont know how much i wanted a tutorial like this
great work. Keep it up
What a fun, clever and very satisfying project 👌
A gentleman and a scholar. So cool. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
or maybe a vulture and a thief parasiting on the actual simpsons authors?
@@user-th7gd7ge4p Seriously? Think about how much Marvel or Pokemon fan art gets monetized out there on the interweb. This is not outlandish behavior. AND copying better artists is the fastest way to learn. Chill.
@@23Hiya you will be very popular in jail. as someone's girlfriend.
@@user-th7gd7ge4p LMAO
@@user-th7gd7ge4p why are they going to jail
Amazing job both with the results as well as with the tutorial aspect
