I work in transplant surgery and folks, the only people "detoxifying" are on dialysis or getting part of their innards physically removed.
Our body is impressive when it comes to self-regulation and I'm a big proponent of NOT interfering with that.
That would be effective if we weren't bombarded with endocrine disruptors, stress, bad air, bad food. Which all interfere with self-regulation, so I'm guessing oftentimes by "enhancing" they rather mean "returning to baseline" or maaaybe a bit better than that.
Is it really though? Or does it just about do the trick, unless something minor breaks in which case it's a cascade of sickness and disease....

No one knows i think and the process is our bodies adjust to keep us alive like if you live in the desert you gain resistance to hot weather and if you live in like arctic you develop a resistance to cold and our bodies does this as we grow up thanks to our grandparents to infinity so we're very resilient to pollution already centuries ago and we've been upgrading our food for that long aswell so we're very resilient to badfood coz countries have different staple foods it difers per country. Nature vs Nurture, doctors hate this for certain reasons so the average normal hooman being is OK on processing everyday stuff and our lifespan shoots up so for some reason people are saying we suck at this process and that alone should start ringing alarm bells telling you to run.

Detoxifying is just encouraging your kidneys to produce more urine.
Detox is definitely NOT something I would recommend someone to go through, unless you’re still in active addiction or taking pain meds you are overly dependent on.
I’ve detoxed from alcohol, percocet, heroin, fentanyl, and Suboxone.

I have seen what comes out of my body when I do the Andreas Moritz liver flush. Also, our organs are associated with our emotions. The liver is the main hub. They all go to the liver first. I know a lot of you will roll your eyes when I say that but if not in our organs- where else would emotions be housed?
I have seen a massive change in my behavior, thats why I flushed my liver once a month for 14 months. When your liver is overworked- you can't process emotions- you become toxic. You litterally cannot care about another person. I can say you do all you want- but once you experience this for yourself you won't understand what I'm talking about.

Detoxifying is only necessary if you don't take care of yourself and get say a fatty liver. Then you're gonna need to either water fast or do a fasting mimicking diet but yea... keeping oneself healthy allows the body to naturally detoxify.

It prolongs life at least in mice.
