    The way I understood this and please correct me if I'm wrong is effectively rest peroids don't matter that much as long as total volume is the same. But he then goes on to say "so this means that you could rest less and still get similar hypertrophy meaning less time needed for your workout" but, if say my total volume for bench press is 24 reps and I get 8 reps with 3min rest vs 5 reps with 2min rest then I need 3 sets on 3min rest (9min total) vs 5 sets on 2min rest (10min total). So shorter rest peroids would actually result in a longer workout. So, shouldn't the conclusion really be that your rest peroid per movement wants to be whatever results in the highest amount of volume in the shortest amount of time?

    Food is never unhealthy. Eating habits can be unhealthy, and junk-food is any food you eat that exceeds your required daily intake of calories. Sure, some foods are easier to abuse, but the responsibility is on the consumer, not the product.

    Frankly just speculative wanting to drink diet soda is because you crave sweets not that drinking diet soda causes any unconfirmed sweet craving, it might be that it's less effective at satisfying that craving than a bag of cookies but as far as I seen there is no evidence that diet soda causes sweet cravining on it's own.

    Waking up early is the result going to bed earlier. Even if I wanted to sleep in I'm still awake around my alarm. Its not about interupting your sleep to wake up early, It's about changing your lifestyle so that we're up early and its enjoyable to go for a run, or any other form of cardio. The best thing about the morning run is that it's done, and you can get the most out of the day. I personally like running on quiet roads when I know the world is dorment and the air is cool.

    got curious and did some math. 1 kCal raises 1L of water by 1°C. so even if you got all your 2L/day from 0° ice water, warming it to body temperature would only burn 75 calories even if it were *literal solid ice* that you had to melt first in your mouth, that’s still just an additional 160 kCal, for a total of 235

    I don't know about y'all, but if I'm training for hypertrophy, i.e., not going to all-out, total failure as in nearly passing out after my last rep, more than two minutes is a long time to rest. If you need more than two minutes after every set and you're training for hypertrophy and you're not nursing an injury, you need to go home and take a nap because you're just killing time, hogging the station, and in everyone else's way. If you can listen to Them Bones by AIC in its entirety between each set, you're taking too long.
