- Today we go to one of our favorite Goodwill thrift stores and mom scores a valuable decorative tray and vintage woven textiles. Next we go to a giant rummage sale, where I find designer dresses like Rag & Bone. Mom finds dog toys, yay!

These videos with your mom make me tear up. Such a sweet relationship you have and she is so funny. My mom and I used to meet for thrifting and lunch dates. She unexpectedly passed away about a year and a half ago and I miss it so much.
That tray is vintage. I used to have drinking glasses made by Georges Briard. Your mom is a hoot! I'm going to use her motto, "I'd just play senile and get away with it!" My favorite, "He's a man we never know what they want." "Reminds me of something Donna Reed wore or Doris Day!" I nearly peed my pants on that one. "Look at this nice wool bathing suit." "Don't break your face that's why I have you do it!" I needed the laughs. Thank you!

Your Mom is adorable! She cracked me up about the Chapstick. My Dad was addicted to it and my Mom went to a drug store liquidator sale once and picked up a display stand filled with Chapstick for $10....l think it lasted 2 years!! So funny you guys! 🤪😹🤭

I just love you two! So reminds me of when my Mom and I would go to yard sales and scouring junk piles in our town at night to see if anyone left out any goodies for trash pickup the next day!! LOL, guess we didn't want people to see us scrounging!! She's been gone since 1992 now and you two together with the laughing, discovering cool finds bring back such fun memories of the two of us schlepin' through stuff! My two daughters and I love to do this, too.....no better entertainment for me!!!

Selena I do hope nothing has ruined the amazing friendship you and Laura share. I lpst my best friend of 18 years last year to ovarian cancer, life is too short. You both are dynamic om your own, but together you were just amazingly fun to follow. Maybe everyone is speculating and it's none of our business. Maybe you bith are truly doing your own thing temporarily. I wpuld do anything to have my bestie in crime back! 💕
You and mom are so reminiscent of my mom and myself, how we used to go thrifting together. We had the best fun....and then my mom got Alzheimer’s. The fun definitely, went away. Lucky for my mom she didn’t suffer with it for very long before she passed away. I miss her so much, what was bad, was I missed her before she passed, too. Sorry, I didn’t mean to be such a downer....but, please, if you have a good relationship with your mom, enjoy her company while you can, don’t take her for granted!

OMG, I was thinking Donna Reed too, I just watched an episode this morning.
I watch the Donna Reed show all the time. They have all those great old programs on a channel called "Decades" and "MeTV". My favorite is "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and The "Dick Van Dyke Show". During all those old programs I'm always looking at the decorative pieces in the background lol. So much fun!

My mom and I have done similar thrifting to you and your mom for years. I admit, my mom is getting older (almost 80) now. She's much slower getting around. You will never forget these wonderful times with your mom. What a blessing and treasure you two are to each other. Enjoy it!
