I hope whoever buys that house embraces some of the Victorian decor. Would be tragic if they destroyed the wallpaper. That’s an amazing estate sale. The lighting was amazing.
The wallpaper in this house is not vintage. It is from a company called Bradbury & Bradbury Art Wallpapers.

Just discovered your channel that sale was so fantastic! The lamp was a beauty , I have 2 of them one is on my Newell post at the foot of the stairs. So glad I found you my new channel to watch
💐💐💐 Hi Selena ~ Nippon is reference to Japan and items marked Nippon are from 1891 to 1921.
Meiji period (1868-1912), incised "Takao zo" (made by Takao) on underside, Osaka company, the Meiji period was the golden age for bronze decorative arts in Japan and large finely carved bronze sculptures of animals in particular were in vogue, this lion has stunning features such as the soft voluminous mane, the detailed feet with fur and claws as well as soft pads on the reverse, his body is strong and he stands in a powerful position with his mouth open baring his teeth and eyes focused at the viewer. This may be the same artist!
That’s so cool! I couldn’t read the middle character, so I’m glad someone else could. It makes sense that something from that period would look like art nouveau, since I think Japanese and western artists were definitely riffing off of each other at that time.
PAUL!!!!! How could you?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That yellow and gold pitcher is my absolute fav!!! ❤️❤️❤️
As a master licensed electrician and fellow antique lover, my Husband was practically drooling over all the fantastic lighting fixtures! He thought they were great prices too! Always so fun seeing the treasures you unearth!
Former Nippon collector here. Nippon porcelain is Japanese, and it was marked Nippon until 1928, when the McKinley Tariff act required it to be marked Made in Japan. The raised paint is called moriage. Hope that helps! What an amazing estate sale! So much eye candy.
And here I sit watching the lighting of dreams flash before my eyes with the ultimate bad Home Depot boob lights above my head.🤣😂😂 thanks so much for sharing all this amazingness with us!!!❤️🥰🙏🏻
I just loved your excitement when you seen something you liked. You were like a kid in a toy store LOL. Your Mom; I just love her....
You showed such great restraint at that estate sale. I think I would have broke the bank with that one! I really loved the beautiful vases, especially the one with the forest scene/trees, that's a keeper for sure! I also loved the incense burner piece. It is so unique & stunning & I think you got a great deal on it! I didn't want this video to end, I was enjoying it so much! Thank you for sharing! 😘🌈💕
Agree, I would have gone crazy with the Finials and all that beautiful antique hardware
I'm drooling!!! never seen an Estate sale like this one!! I saw so many things I would have purchased! I collect milk glass and depression glass.....but love the painted pretty vases and bowls! TFS!!!
Love your sumglasses
Selina, I saw that sweet little cylindrical vase in the beginning of the first video and loved it!
You have such beautiful things...wow.
Oh my gosh the waiting, ahhhhhhhh
Thank u for sharing
Nippon is from Japan. The Austrian cylinder vase you bought might be worth a bit. I was going crazy when I saw paintings or prints of Maxfield Parish and some of his contemporaries - the fairies pulling the man ( the name is escaping me) but he's from same period - Byron Ash.. it's something like that..lol. These are VERY popular and probably worth quite a bit. They emerged from the period straddling the departure from Art Neveu and then well into Art Deco period. These paintings are quite popular and worth quite a bit. Even old prints if in period frame also.
I know there were glass and porcelain pieces there that would sell on ebay, for a LOT more than they were asking. Some into the thousands. Anything from Italy, Austria, Bavaria, as well as many others - even Nippon can bring quite a profit for resale depending on the pattern and rarity. Especially if the pieces are signed. That's typically an indicator of value on antique porcelain pieces.
One last thing,vintage BOMBshell:
I am a fan of the vernacular of this country.
You and your mom speak a lingo that blows my noggin!
It’s almost Owen Wilson-Raquel,like “ohh woow”,or “”That’s amaaazing!@
It is super cute, both of you!
Aah I got spellchecked the heck outa this one.
Ugh🙄
Maybe Paul watches your channel and bought the lamp for you!😉❤️
I cannot believe this estate sale ❤️😍😍😍😘🇨🇦
All silliness aside,I admire your taste in lighting.
In other words, you appreciate the moment that is looking UP!
Few do,nowadays,we must look up,and see the beauty that it shines down.
😂
Hi Selina. Well my favourite item must be the yellow pitcher with the roses and I also like the art deco vase.
“Mom…you’re looking at stain?! Look at these vintage lights!” 🤣🤣🤣 I love loved this! 🥰 Sounds just like me and my mom! 😜 Enjoy you two so much! 😘💜🤗
Thanks for part 2 stroll in estate. Love you ladies. Miss my mom.
Selina, Nippon is what they used to call Japan. That’s is really old and gorgeous. Keep it Selina it’s a treasure.
I just googled your o&eg Royal Austria vase. Wow you got a deal on that. Wow
That house was like a museum. I hope the people who lived there enjoyed all their beautiful decoration and possessions. Absolutely stunning.
You make me want to learn new things about the history of all the treasures you find. It's not a bad hobby for a 66 year old to have. Thanks!
To repair broken leaves or flowers like Capodimonte mix smooth (cheap) white bread with Tacky glue to make a sort of clay. You can dye the dough or paint it when it is dry. It dries very hard. I have pieces I repaired over twenty years ago and they still look great. I put missing beaks on a pair of marble bird bookends also. You can make jewelry with this dough it dries so hard. I hope you bought the pink vases! So beautiful.
Hi!
You are a delight,truly❤️
As a lamp addict, I almost OD'd seeing this estate sale! :-D
Hi selina iv pressed bell but sorry I will be in bed 12 AM sending you love Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So wonderful geeking with you. Wish I had been older/wiser when I owned a treasure 1985 Victorian and a 1914 Craftsman. We were too taken with babies and careers to really do it justice. I tried, I must say. I did hang on until 2015 when a final move after 2yrs in London 4 in Tahoe and 25 in Sonoma Co I ended up in a granny cabin in the redwoods of Occidental , CA with significantly less lovely stuff... but at 75 I do remember and appreciate everything.
You were definitely in your happy place. So fun.
Selena, I wish I could have seen the tulip painting more closely! It looked like something I would absolutely love. There was a lot to love there, though. Sorry about the planters. 😐
Greetings thrifters from hot Abilene, Texas! Gonna thrift with you inside under the AC!
Wow your right. It’s only May!
wow, that was amazing. i love the blue winter scene vase but everything you bought was beautiful.
Selena - What a wonderful time (part2) So glad you extended your visit to this special sale. Were those large vases with figurines gone on half price day? I think you thought they might be $60 for the pair. They were lovely. I'm sorry you missed out on the planters. I adored the gold/roses pitcher and the delicate, romantic cylinder vase was my favorite - just lovely. Thanks again for letting me come along with you and your mom. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
Hello, this is my first visit to your channel. I about fell off my chair when I saw all of those light fixtures! I need several for my old farmhouse. I call my style country brocante, lol! Many of those lights would have been right at home here. I'll be back for another visit.
Those pitchers are EVERYTHING! Love them!💜💜💜
I shall wait patiently because I know I will enjoy it!
TFS Selena. That was an amazing estate sale. They had so many awesome things.I love the beautiful light fixtures, and chandelier’s.I saw so many I loved! I always love seeing you and your mom thrifting, and antiquing together.❤️👍🏻
I love these with Mom. Lots of lighting. Love the music too. Really quality merch & reasonable. The house did have lovely wallpaper. I love your enthusiasm. 🌺❤️🥰💕
Can you ditch the soundtrack when you’re talking, it’s so distracting
Nippon is Japan. I learned that recently.
Nippon is what the Japanese call Japan. They labeled their goods as Nippon until after WWII. After WWII, goods from Japan are labeled "occupied Japan" and then in the 1960s, as Japan.
THis is a beautiful piece! It is like a lovely sculpture - it doesn't need flowers or plants - it is a sculpture. It speaks for itself! Thanks for sharing it with us! And congratulations of a great find.
I loved both days snooping with you and your mom. I would not have missed it!
When you kept telling your mom, “my birthday is coming up” it cracked me up! My kids would do the same to me. I wanted your mom to say, You’re the one working, I’m retired! 🤣
The trays are Paper Mache ...so stunning! That Bronze Dragon piece looks Japanese as they usually have 3 toes!! Looks like an Incense Burner for sure and is stunning!
I agree 100 %
Great video!!
Yes!!!! Amazing prices
Thank you so much Selena for taking us along with you and your mother through this a gorgeous estate sale.
I've never been to an estate sale. But if I wanted to go to one.... That 1 would be the one. I was dying inside over here. WOW!!!
Thanks for taking us along on you and your mothers adventures. Your mom reminds me of mine down to earth, practical, no nonsense and not big on dolling herself up she is naturally beautiful.
You got some very beautiful items!! I really love that tall vessel with the dragons. What a focus piece!! I love old pitcher's too. Beautiful! I'm so grateful I've discovered you!! You're delightful and love how you appreciate the vintage items!! Take care. 💐💐💐
I believe it is a Japanese incense burner signed by artist named "高尾"。
I think I would’ve said everybody out this is all mine buy up all the lamps and all the pieces oh my gosh I would have freaked out
I loved the yellow pitcher vase…. With gold trim😊🌴
What a magical home to live in- surrounded by all those beautiful lamps. What a dream...
Love the things you pick and love seeing you and your Mom shopping. That is so special and heartwarming.
Everything is so beautiful!!!
I think, no, I know that if I went to that estate sale I'd be eating bread for the rest of the year 😁what a treasure trove of items. Love your incense burner, truly stunning 🐉
The wall paper is so beautiful. I love Art Deco wall paper or anything and Victorian. You are so lucky
That was amazing, Selena. I enjoyed every second. I love "hunting" with you and your mom. Good times!
Selena I am so happy for you that you found an estate sale with your name written all over it. I love estate sales that feature a particular hobby, profession or interest. I have gotten some great art from the estate of a gentleman that was a professional framer and great finds from a former antique dealer. At your house I would have been all over those finials. Lighting is often overlooked in peoples homes but to me the right pieces can make a huge difference and the finials are the cherry on top. That last vase/pitcher you got on the second day was gorgeous. Enjoy your finds and thank you as always for all that you share!
I loved everything you got!!
So much fun when you hang out with your mom!! Beautiful house! I love the pink little vase!! 💜
I think my favorite thing is between the yellow pitcher and the small narrow vase. 🌷
I’m so delighted for part two! WOW! My favorites are still the stained glass windows. They are on my current can’t have enough list. Thank you so much for taking us along. You did great!
Hi🌺🌺
You really found a treasure trove here. The lighting was to die for! I hope you gave them your name and # in case they didn’t sell that gorgeous $1200.00 French piece…..you may been able to name your price!! Anyway, another awesome video Selena. Looking forward to part 2! ❤️🌷❤️
Toward the end of the video on their return visit the next day, Selena said it was sold already and it showed a tag with the purchaser’s name.
@@lindafrance9192 darn that Paul. 🤣
Love this so much!
I would've died at that sale. So many beautiful things! The very finely raised areas on the vase that looks almost like piped frosting is called moriage - Asians pronounce it mo-ri- a- gay. Europeans pronounce it mo-ri-azhe. It is created by piping slip (diluted clay) in a pattern and then firing it.
I was coming to tell her this very same thing. Such wonderful treasures at that sale. Blew my mind!
This was the Best Video! The wall paper was beautiful, the Lady of the house must have loved her house very much. I enjoy looking at china and thinking of the women that collected, maybe a piece at a time and how proud they must have been. This 2 part was the Best Ever! Thank you!!
The metal urn with the dragon handle wins! 🎉 Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing Selena! This home and collection is once in a life time.....amazing collection !!! Wow!! I hope it all gets saved somehow !
I was salivating through these two great videos! Gorgeous lamps and the best video of this Victorian home! What a sale!
WooHoo That sale. I am new friend to your channel. I adore your style. I have been binge watching. Can't wait to see more. I love vintage jewelry and compacts. I love your Mom. I lost my Sweet Momma Aug 9,2021. I miss her so much. She was my Best Friend. Dementia stinks. But I still have precious memories before she started forgetting me. I got glimpses every now and then. I treasure those all the way to the day before she passed. I had her the whole day. Remembering me. It was a Blessing. That vintage home was AMAZING 💐
What fun walking through the estate sale with you and your sweet mom! We love estate sales and go to at least one each week…you can find the best things! As for your antique haul, I really like the tall vase in soft floral colors-it’s a stand out piece❤
Fun going on a virtual estate sale haul with you both. I absolutely loved the last vase you showed with the pink roses. I would've picked that up In a heartbeat 💓
Loved this video you both are so cute what a Mother Daughter team.
Great finds!
That house was a work of art.
This house is so gorgeous! What a beautiful Victorian home. So lovely! I know you found some beautiful things. Thanks for sharing your walk through. So much fun! Your mother is so sweet!!
That metal art deco bed! So many beautiful things. Love shopping with you and your mom
What a fun sale! Love the pitcher with the flowers 🌹
Hi, I enjoy your channel:) I’m Japanese, the back of the dragon thing said 高尾作(from right to left in old Japanese writing) 高尾 Takao should be the name of the person, 作 means “made by”. It could be “Takaoka doki” you can google it and you might find something similar.
It seems like to me a Buddhist incense holder.
I’m not 100% sure. But hope this helps!
the round part of that house is called a turret. i had one on my victorian. i loved it! it was just outside of the master bedroom with a door that led out to a small round porch.
So much fun! 💕
My husband play's harmonica (blues) so he is always looking for bullet mic's . I sing blues so the Shure mic would work for me
I loved going shopping with you both at this Victorian Estate sale. I love the iron bed! Your home is stunning,!!!!!
My Mom passed away in 2008. I laughed at what another person said that her Mom and her like the
same stuff. My Mom use to say to
me "If you like that sort of stuff". Bless her Soul. I miss her too.
That was fun, loved all the light fixtures Sooo beautiful!!
The Victorian home estate sale was superb. Paul definitely got the best deal! But you also left with some beautiful treasures.
Thank you so much for putting this video up so fast! I felt teary after seeing the video yesterday. I don't know why it hit me like that! I can't imagine going to a sale like that!
I think that I like the middle pitcher on the top shelf the most. The colors are fantastic.
So I was watching this and my husband came home, as he was walking in the house he said; “I hear Selena, what are you going to be searching the ends of the earth for now?” LOL
Anyway, I’m so happy for you finding all your beautiful treasures, what an awesome sale!! ❤️🌷
Haha that’s hilarious!!!! We’d get in big trouble if we shopped together 😆 I’m a bad influence! Haha
Fun
Loved it all!!!!
Loved this! I loved all the lamps!
Love, love watching you and Mom!
Beautiful music, what an amazing antique estate sale! I love your choices of antiques and most of all your relationship with your mother. I thoroughly enjoyed walking through the sale with you both. I love those two pink vases that you looked at for $60.00 wish you had bought them.
