@@filoncmike I'm looking for how to clean an extruder with clogged filament not broken filament. As in melted everywhere in the nozzle/extruder apparatus.
@@Cacowninja Ouch!! That does not sound good. Maybe try a heat gun and try to get everything soft enough to use needle nose pliers to pull the mess out or a small screwdriver to pry it all out. Not sure how hot plastic came out of nozzle end and turned into your mechanism.
@@filoncmikeActually that's not what happened. What happened is I have a stuck piece of filament. Like this really small piece of filament that won't heat up for some reason with the extruder open.
U dont have to do all this u can unload from the extrusion page it has auto unload and load. just feed the filament in then hit load no need to push it threw and risk clogs..
I used this thing for only 8 days. It failed. I turned it on one morning and the display didn't turn on. The light in the extruder didn't turn on. The China based support only responds through email. They take 1-2 days to respond. They just told me that I have to PAY to send the defective printer back to them! Really? Good companies don't do that. If you buy one of these things and it fails, you're screwed! Take some time to read their warranty information on their website. It's extremely vague. I got this thing as a birthday gift. I loved it until it failed. I wasn't using it in any way that could have broken it. I just printed some really nice stuff. I am offended that Mingda thinks it's OK to make me pay for shipping! That is a very shady business practice. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas attorney general's office. I will leave negative reviews everywhere I see this product being sold. They just pissed off the wrong customer.
Sorry to hear that. How long have you had it? Could it be just a fuse? I haven’t opened it up at all. They should definitely pay shipping if they want it back. They should just send you a new one!!👍
Thanks for posting! This video helped me with an issue I was having getting the filament to load.
Thanks for the help!
Useful video btw
Do you know how I can disable the filament out sensor on the magician X as mine is faulty.
If you click on settings you can turn it off
How do you clean clogged filament on the mingda max 2?
