Great test brother. Yea you would do even more damage if they were awakened. I’ve recently switched out 2 of my 4/5* for maxed 2* and awakened them. It’s pretty strong.
Your comparing the wrong gems, blessings of worthy is completely different it had an explosion where berserker eye doesn't you have to take into consideration that is part of the gem so your just going to ignore the 60k it does?🤦♂️ If you want to compare, then do it to a similar one like blood soak jade..
@@Mystogan00 Even with a 60k damage it does not beat berserker eye because that 60k only happen every 20sec and it needs to be a crit damage, while Berserker eye, give flat damage increase. Why I am comparing it to Rank 5 BOTW because it takes 475 Gem and 5 copies to get there and gets beaten from a 1* gem that takes 6 copies and 200 gem power. So its very clear as a F2P player 1* gems can be as good as some 5* gems in PVE.

Thats why I'm using 3 1s gems and make it to rank 10 (berserker,subjugation and torment) and others are 5s 4/5 rank 5 gems. It seems to me that the dmg you gain is a lot greater and your build is gonna be excellent as a mid spender. I also awakened the gears of those 3 rank 10 1s gems so the dmg is boosted alot, imagine you gonna get 10% dmg, 10% cd reduction or 10% less consume energy. I have 1.7K reso and can manage to reach 5k BG points, you can get to top 1 for 2 to 3weeks until whales gonna get the top slot. I always play with the whales in BG, sometimes it is frustrating but its fun. Using wiz & monk, changing my r10 torment to r10 carsen when using monk. I love my build,I can change it anytime, vise versa.
What suprise you? They are totally different gems.. The one gives a blast if you are between mobs that helps you take them down and the other gives % damage plus crit chance.. Was obvious from the beggining that damage would be higher even if you loose damage from lower reso.. % damage is always higher than flat
My surprise came when I was using my laser and felt doing a lot more damage. I did not thought difference is going to be that big honestly and that was a surprise. I did not even used my awaken slot for berserker eye. But yeah that was my first impression xD
@@erriksetiawan9076 I have 3400 Res with 5 star gems when I need to do higher CR activities like Raids but for farming/dungeons I prefer to use a mix of 1/2 star gems rank 10 which puts me at about 1300 Res. Which is funny cuz I can still rep the 3K wings
But in this video you didn’t use the bottle hope proc. But still you can have great success swapping a maxed 1* in place of a non damage boost 5* and do more damage like in this video.
Can you help me a little with the math. it seems like you are getting larger crits, but you completely lose out on the big hits from worthy. My question is does the worthy damage cover the gap and i would assume in packs there would be no question it would but on single target damage do you crit often enough to cover 1 or two 62k hits of worthy. If your crits are 10k more you would need to crit 6 times every 20 seconds to cover. on top of this you are taking 5% extra dmg and worthy is decreasing dmg by 8% and giving you more health. I do not think the video really answers the complete question and would like to see some testing that compares high end challenge rift times for being geared both ways to see if it changes the time required to complete. If it does it should be more beneficial.
That's wrong equation. The whole dmg within 20 secs not just the crits. Plus in crift, you must also manage to not being hit. So that botw will be useless in crift specially on wizards, damage will always be more beneficial as a wiz.
berserk does more dmg but keep in mind in pvp is 1/3 of the dmg bonus and 1/3 of the awakened bonuses. also u taking 5% more dmg with it and will have less hp also from lower resonance. for pve i think its a decent trade off maybe
Thinking of combining some more 1* rank 10 gems with 5* Legendary gems and test how much more dmg I can deal.

But the damage and life bonuses afforded by resonance are not nerfed in PVP.

I’m a little over 3k res and I prefer my load out with multiple rank 10 1 star gems with awakened gear.
how did you get the 3000 with multiple 1 star gems bro? Pls elaborate, my progress on gems is so slow rn

All CZcamsrs promote Berserker Eye and the rest of the gems that gives dmg so the gems can be nerfed in the next patch.
Dang it, I really did not mean that. I plan on testing some other 1* Legendary gems too and see how the combination works with 5* one.

I did that on purse to see what damage numbers I get without bottle hope. Just to stay more F2P friendly with test.

That is the ancestral proc or the botw proc.
BOTW blast proc. It does go sometime close to 70k for me.

Agree. For pve go with the 1* eye, for pvp def go with the 5*
Taking 5% more dmg is also reduced.

@@bobbyleeacn I tested it and yes. Also the cooldown from bottled hope and movement speed from bsj, etc etc. As in all the effects are reduced.
The only thing that is no reduce is Resonance
