      Gentle control is always more effective when you’re dealing with sheep. They will just fight harder if you force it. It’s the mark of an experienced shearer for sure

    This is heartbreaking. Thank you so much. They're BRED to end up in misery, injured, and potentially blinded if their wool isn't trimmed. I can't imagine how awful and helpless that would be.

    I agree with greasemonkey; the shearing needed to be done, because we all know that overheating can kill a sheep, so, regardless of the way the she looks afterwards, you did a great job with a rescue from over heating

    You’re absolutely amazing. I could watch your videos endlessly. You’re the consummate pro! And when you’re funny too, it just makes viewing each one a total delight. I love alpacas and llamas. I love their spun fiber. So scrumptious and warm when knitted up into sweaters, etc.

    Love watching the caring way you both manage the animals!! Watched a sheep sheering contest a few years ago and the all men contestants were oblivious to the rough and thoughtless way they dragged and threw the sheep around, it was heartwrenching!😣.
