Prince William Reunites With His Flying Instructor on RAF Base Visit

- Prince William has visited his former RAF base in Anglesey, north Wales, where he was reunited with his flying instructor Captain Brian Wills.
William lived at the base as a newly-wed with Kate between 2010 and 2013, during which time he served as an RAF search and rescue pilot. Report by Zaina Alibhai.

He followed in his grandfather's footsteps, with one exception, Prince Philip qualified on 52 different aircraft, William has not managed that fete , yet.
@donnalayton6876 Talk about a true Legend of Avaition...the late HRH Prince Philip. Man made British aviation history and earned countless hours and experience on aircrafts, like during Royal tours he'd be the pilot or co-pilot flying the late HM around.

Andrew qualified as a helicopter pilot
Sarah Ferguson qualified as a helicopter pilot and the dreadful harry qualified as a co-pilot gunner

@@xakilegnadeeHarry is not awarding these awards to himself, others who are qualified to judge his qualifications and experience are awarding these honors and William is passing out awards to others who have earned them, William piloted an air ambulance helicopter in England, Harry did his service in an actual war zone in Afghanistan .

Back at RAF Valley in Wales where he lived and was stationed when he was in the military and flew Search and Rescue helicopters. Happy days full of good memories - and how great that he got to meet again with old colleagues and one who taught him how to fly ❤

Willliam invited his RAF SeaKing Air Sea rescue helicopter and the crews he flew with when he was his county’s Air Ambulance pilot to his Wedding,AND Reception. He was well respected and liked.
You Brits are so lucky to have this fine man as a contributor to many great causes and an heir to the throne. Impressive in every way.

Prince William seems to be comfortably in his element talking with the other pilots. His warm, relaxed smile was nice to see. I hope that means that Princess Catherine is having one of her better days as she continues her cancer treatments. I can only imagine the toll her illness has taken on Prince William and his family, but I think they have all handled this health challenge with courage, dignity and incredible grace. All the best to Princess Catherine for a full and speedy recovery. I look forward to the day that she can rejoin Prince William again on their dual royal engagements.
I always look for how W is as his face is an indicator of stress - he seems really relaxed here & laughing so it's a good sign!

Im thrilled to see the vehicle behind Prince William, bears the OSHKOSH insignia! It was built in my home state of Wisconsin, USA.
While in the Army, stationed with a Maintenance School, I was fortunate enough to tour the Oshkosh Truck Factory. They built and restored the vehicles used by the US Army in Afghanistan and Iraq. ❤

Here's the deal the Royals bring free exposure to things that a lot of people don't know about charities, children, whatever you know what I mean. The minute they show up at that place everyone knows about it because it doesn't matter how much money the Royals may have they can't pay for everything in the country and the rest of us have to do our part. I'm sure this is hard for you to understand how all of this works but the cherry on top is that they pay for themselves with the money they deposit into the Treasury every year so by all means go ahead and continue looking like an ignoramus.. it's about all you are good for.

I had little idea of that until Harry and Meghan showed themselves to be lazy and self serving.
