I just jumped for the first time yesterday which means that I will probably be in one of these videos soon! On the 6th jump, we were cantering and the horse i was riding, right before we went over the jump, swerved to the right and i fell off but I'm excited for my next lesson!

The first time I cantared off our property with no fences, I remember falling off and being dragged through the cornfield because my sisters horse got spooked and my horse followed along, (this happened 7 or 8 years ago) I got up afterwards, but I'm so glad that you won't let falling stop you to đ

I'm loving that you kicked this off with use of draw reins. Any dressage rider who uses these, know that the real riders are judging you and talking maaaaad shit about you.

Never pat the horse when he does something wrong then the horse will understand to correct his self.
If the horse is spooked though or unsettled then patting them can calm them and help reassure them.

This fancy stuff hurts the horse, the high head, and low tucked in head causes nerve damage to the neck and spine, and is extremely painful, the horse cant see properly. Sidepassing damages the hips. And the extended gaits do all kinds of damage. WHICH IS WHY THE HORSE CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE AND GETS PISSED! I WOULD TOO! THIS IS ABUSE FOR $$$$$$$!

All dressage is based on moves horses naturally will do.
@@karatgirl2827 I owned a ex dressage horse. Her back end was completely wrecked from it. Horses do not do all these moves in nature or use this unnatural head carriage.

If you got a horse with a wrecked back, his previous owner was an idiot who should not own horses. The horses with a wrecked back are the race horses.
hmmm...Vicky, I guess you never worked with a horse riding him? You would know that a horse is not a robot and that he will react strongly if in pain.
Dressage correctly done like Charlotte Dujardin does makes the horse's back stronger. Also, you have to notice a horse's eyes are on the side of his head, where humans have their ears. This means the horse can see perfectly everywhere minus a little part in front of him whenever his head is low or high.
