I bought an MSI Notebook GP62 7RDX Leopard (the one you had reviewd on your channel)
After using it for 32 days, the CPU fan started making a rattling sound. The sound is not as much but it is definitely noticable and it makes the whole notebook vibrate. This happens even when the laptop is idle. (No heavy applications running) This does not affect the performance of the notebook in any way.
I visited their service location as mentioned on the website - Regeneresis Computers, Lamington Road, Mumbai. They said they serviced the product and the noise should not be there now. The service center was too noisy for me to notice the the rattling there whichh made me think the problem was fixed.
Unfortunately when I came back home, both, the rattling sound and the vibrations where still there.
Meanwhile I was in touch with MSI’s online technical support team (as addressed in the mail) and told them about the problem and the visit to the service center. They asked me to send sys info file and some screenshots from dragon center to check the fan speeds.
They told me that the speeds are normal and sound is expected.
I then send them a sound recording specifing the distance the microphone was held etc. after which they asked me to reset the bios and the laptop, or run the notebook on reduced CPU and GPU fan speeds “if I am used to work in QUIET ENVIRONMENTS”
To this i asked them for a refund or a replacement if they cannot address, let alone resolve this issue.
They asked me to send the product to Global Warranty Locations, which for some weird reasons are only located in South America. (On my expenses)
I am an Architect and I use intensive 3D modelling and rendering softwares. It is neither possible for me to run the notebook on lower fan speeds nor send the product away for such a long time.
I have proudly been part of the UIC Family for more than 2 years now. Please advise me on my further course of action.

I think it's good for implicit tasks like keeping the phone in DND mode when kept at a specific spot and it's a bad idea to use this for explicitly doing tasks like opening map with a specific geo location because that can be done through apps that create useful shortcuts at home screen.
I am using one for WiFi Network, stored SSID and Password. Makes easier to share WiFi :)

Lol asking someone to "install" an app to connect to WiFi. Meh.
Ishan Shah The other person just requires NFC feature in his phone to scan the Tag. App is required only to add/delete/modify tasks in the Tag.
Shubham Gaikwad may be I'm mistaken but for a task like automatically connecting to the WiFi network, I guess it does require the person to have the application.
Ishan Shah No. As far as I am using this, the other person just has to turn NFC and WiFi on to get directly connected.

I am planning to use nfc tags to changle profile (silent/normal) of my phone
So i will stick nfc tag on my desk where i normally keep my mobile
So will that tag be triggered again and again if i just keep my mobile on that tag and leave it over there?
do they work if approach a metal surface like the backside of phone?

Great use cases.. not too reviewers have covered this topic.. do check out IFTTT as well for automation of tasks.. comes quite handy.
If you lock a tag can you atleast erase the data & assign a new task or lock tag cannot be erased & data which is assigned to the tag before locking it cannot be edited.

Hi prasad..can we use nfc tags with dslr to change the setting..?
I think this is only for the people who sit at just 1 place and do their work ... If I'm using my phone when I'm sleeping on my bed and I want to put my phone on silent then why would I get up to put my phone on the tag ? It will just take 1 sec to put it on the silent mode if I do it by myself....
But ya liked the contact details feature that you don't have to carry your visiting card everywhere ...
But according to me I don't think people will use it often even if they buy it ..

you can use that for helping the older people who are not so tech savvy, these stickers can be used to automate certain tasks like making a video call, playing and navigating music, opening a channel page on CZcams, etc.

bhai mere pass chennai metro ke tokens hain ek do extra mil gaye i can read only that tag but cant write anything to it. aap metro tags ke sath try karo naa, try to read and write metro tag / tokens
